(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) It is really upsetting to know that the business would take it as far as lying on record to say that I was cussing on the phoneI would never hold myself to that standard no matter how upset I wasI have my phone records as proof that no one called me as stated in the statement from the company to inform me of any situation and I called numerous times because I told them that I did not want any extra chargesFurthermore, I can prove that the statement in regards to pickup that day(8/4) being at 12:30pm is inaccurate because my phone records will reflect a 2:00pm pick up which after that I was nearly late to pick up my daughter from school(This was her first day of school mind you) I spoke with the secretary the following day(8/4) after it was due for pick up in hopes to get answers and to voice my frustrationSince she was not a supervisor or manager I requested to speak to oneI never asked her for a refund, I asked the owner to grant a refundHe asked me, "well what can I do to make this right?" and I told him, "well I kind of would like my delivery fee refunded" and he said, "ok yes $I will do it" and hung upIt baffles me that the only thing the business can do is slander me after I was more than cooperative to the pick up crew and even gave them a cash tip for coming over so fast! As to my review on ***.com it is public and can be viewed openlyI use no fowl language and I told the truth about my experienceIf I was really this vicious person that this business has made me out to be I could have wrote a review that was explicit or I could have lied about the entire experienceBut I told the truthThe staff was friendly, my only gripes was with the owner in how he handled himself on the phone with me after I voiced my frustration about the time frameIt was a Monday so my routine would be picking up my daughter from school and then dropping her off in Kalihi (I don't have a car so I would be riding the bus) and then shooting back into town to attend night schoolNeedless to say I was worried because the booking was originally for a family reunionMy own personal budget could not accommodate any extra charges if any would occurSo I admittedly was anxious to get it resolvedNot to mention that the rentals were being stored in my downstairs apartment storageThe resident managers were well aware of the situation because they were the ones with the lock and key to the room so they were all witnesses to the phone call that I had made that day This story that the owner has cooked up has so many holes in it I can without a doubt show proof that it is all a lieThe statement about me making reservations with them a day before my event is falseI have e-mail communications of the date I booked with them (July 18,2014) as well as bank statements that will reflect a payment clearing for July 21, in the amount of $This was a fee for the rentals only and because of budgeting I was discussing with the receptionist about picking up the equipment or having them deliveredShe suggested that it would be cheaper to pick up, but since I have no car and most of my family drives compact cars it was near impossibleNo problems there, I just asked her if I can call back and talk with the family to see what was bestThe family collectively decided that it would be best if we just paid for deliveryI called back and paid for the delivery in the amount of $that also cleared on July 21, Let me address the situation about how I received the phone numberUpon delivery I hadn't received a call so I called in to the office and asked to dispatch the delivery crew to give me a heads up because I was in the middle of moving apartments(once again, documents to support this)Instead, the secretary/receptionist gave me the phone number which can be proven in my phone recordsI'm not entirely sure of where these facts are coming from Furthermore, I would like to respond to the accusation that I have a "hobby" of ***ingIsn't that what [redacted] is all about? It is a structured website for consumers to voice their opinions both good and badI'm sorry that the person who responded to this complaint feels that because of my [redacted] review that they are inclined to deny my refundI have a basic right as a consumer to constructively criticize a business that provides useful information to othersI use the word "useful" loosely because what one person deems useful another will notWhat does my ratings on [redacted] about other businesses have to do with this matter of you withholding money owed? If you truly intended on rectifying the situation why is it that the refund was not processed immediately after speaking with you? I can only assume because there was never an intent to return any money to me Let's just say this much, if what the field manager says is true, that my refund was denied because of my [redacted] review, then why may I ask did the secretary acknowledge that my refund was still to be processed and then also acknowledged that it was awaiting approval from the ownerIf this conversation that I am referring to does not jog memories then that is fine, I have it all on recordingI made the decision to record my conversation after the encounter that I had with the owner the previous day Its very unprofessional that the business would release a statement that is totally slandering me as an individualI am not sure what criticizing my grammar and suggesting that I further educate myself has to do with this dispute, but it does give further evidence of just how malicious this business and the people who represent it are I would like to revise my earlier complaintMaybe requesting that my full delivery and pickup fee be refunded could be overreaching since I have admitted before and it hasn't been a secret that the delivery services were great and the only issue was with communicationI think after reviewing the businesses response I can see where my request could be a bit unreasonableI would like to settle for half of the delivery and pick up fee since it would only be fair because the facts are simpleThe Pick up of the rentals and communication after that was not establishedThe original complaint was to dispute the amount of $split in half would be $ I cannot go back in time to change what happened that dayI can only go forward, and with that I hope that the next response from the business upholds professional mannerisms when addressing public mattersFor the record, in regards to my event - it went smoothlyI may have been picky about the shade and quality of the tablecloths, the cleanliness of the chairs and condition of the tables, but it is my opinion as a consumer/customerInstead of taking my criticism and using it constructively to your advantage I feel as if your making it a personal vendetta to research me on [redacted] and study my habitsRest assure that I've never in my life made a complaint to Revdex.com and only serious matters that should be addressed should be public knowledge For the record, this is the first ever complaint I have ever made officially towards a business

On Sunday, August 03, 2014 we contacted Ms. [redacted] and other customers informing them that our truck broke down in Haleiwa and we will be picking up our equipment late.  Due to mass confusion on that day with the tow truck company and we were told by the patrol...

officer that we needed to remove our truck off the highway. We had lost track of time and forgotto contact Ms. [redacted] to update her on the situation because by that time it was 6:00 p.m. in the evening.  The next day Ms. [redacted] contacted us regarding her pick up and we had apologize to her and we tried to explain what had happen. But she was not so nice over the phone and started cussing at my secretary and demanded that she get a refund of$100.00 which is for her delivery charge and wanted her equipment to be picked up at 2:30 p.m..  So my secretary handed the phone over to me and I apologized to her not having to pick up her equipments yesterday. But she was so rude on the phone and she didn't want to hear anything. My deliver guys got to her apartment and picked up her equipments around 12:30 p.m. on that day. After all the accommodations we had given to Ms. [redacted] when another company fell threw and couldn't give her the equipments she needed. We came through last minute when she called and needed equipments for her event.  We had delivered her equipments the day before her event and because we had problems with our truck not getting to her on the day of pick up she had an issue and demanded a refund. Of all that negativE comments that she had posted on [redacted].com and the rudeness and the cussing I am not refunding her anything.  She had nothing nice to say, or grateful of how we came through for her last minute, and delivered the equipments she needed for her party the  day before her event as we promised. Of the 48 years I been in business I never had a customer reported me to the Revdex.com.  I tried to be reasonable with Ms. [redacted] but she had her mind made up.  I feel that I tried my best to handle the situation but I have no control over our truck being broken on the road.

I have e-mail communications of the date I booked with them (July 18,2014) as well as bank statements that will reflect a payment clearing for July 21, 2014 in the amount of $418.06 This was a fee for the rentals only and because of budgeting I was discussing with the receptionist about picking up the equipment or having them delivered. She suggested that it would be cheaper to pick up, but since I have no car and most of my family drives compact cars it was near impossible. No problems there, I just asked her if I can call back and talk with the family to see what was best. The family collectively decided that it would be best if we just paid for delivery. I called back and paid for the delivery in the amount of $104.71 that also cleared on July 21,2014.
Let me address the situation about how I received the phone number. I would like to revise my earlier complaint. Maybe requesting that my full delivery and pickup fee be refunded could be overreaching since I have admitted before and it hasn't been a secret that the delivery services were great and the only issue was with communication. I think after reviewing the businesses response I can see where my request could be a bit unreasonable. I would like to settle for half of the delivery and pick up fee since it would only be fair because the facts are simple. The Pick up of the rentals and communication after that was not established. The original complaint was to dispute the amount of $104.71 split in half would be $52.36.
I cannot go back in time to change what happened that day. I can only go forward, and with that I hope that the next response from the business upholds professional mannerisms when addressing public matters. For the record, in regards to my event - it went smoothly. I may have been picky about the shade and quality of the tablecloths, the cleanliness of the chairs and condition of the tables, but it is my opinion as a consumer/customer. Instead of taking my criticism and using it constructively to your advantage I feel as if your making it a personal vendetta to research me on [redacted] and study my habits. Rest assure that I've never in my life made a complaint to Revdex.com and only serious matters that should be addressed should be public knowledge.
For the record, this is the first ever complaint I have ever made officially towards a business.
