September 1, 2015. The payment came through with Mr. [redacted]'s account information (Ms. [redacted] s spouse), not Ms. [redacted]'s. This caused the payment to post to Mr. [redacted] s account, where it was later determined to be an overpayment and refunded to Mr. [redacted] on September 15, 2015. (Check number [redacted], cashed September 22, 2015.)Currently Ms. [redacted] still owes $679.33 towards the July 28, 2015 date of service. Dear Ms. [redacted]:This letter serves to acknowledge our receipt of UPMC Mercy School of Nursing response to claim number [redacted].I appreciate that UPMC Mercy School of Nursing for acknowledging our concerns, and for complying with FERPA.According to the July 27, 2017, response from UPMC Mercy School of Nursing they received notification of the decline in their NCLEX-RN rates on November 10, 2016, however, Dr. Angela B[redacted] disclosed that the program had already put a plan in place in May of 2016; corroborating our findings that they were well aware of the decline in their NCLEX-RN rates and probationary status prior to the Spring 2016 Open House.In response to the claim that our daughter didn't meet with the director is inaccurate. In July 2017, after uncovering the fallacious termination on her transcript, was the first time our daughter was offered to make an appointment with the director. The only time UPMC Mercy School of Nursing has ever reached out to our daughter was to set-up a payment plan that she is faithfully honoring.Further, during the Fall 2016 Semester UPMC Mercy School of Nursing Program experienced an extensive instructor turn-over rate, that appears to have left the newest, inexperience instructors unfamiliar with guiding students through withdrawal protocols. Our daughter met with each of her seasoned and unseasoned instructors to inform them of her decision to withdraw, including their Financial Aid Administrator.Additionally, as it currently stands, UPMC Mercy School of Nursing maintains to advertise high NCLEX pass rates on their website at: http://[redacted]Lastly, it is good to read UPMC Mercy is in communication with the PA State Board of Nursing regulators; nevertheless, UPMC Mercy School of Nursing neglected to communicate with students before, during or after enrollment regarding their poor NCLEX rates and probationary status, including failure to address former instructors claims and cheating accounts across the distinct UPMC Nursing School Programs,UPMC Mercy School of Nursing recruitment and academic practices are misleading and deceiving to consumers.Thank you for listening,[redacted]
