I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me
I must state that this complaint in no way reflected on the abilities of the jeweler nor the appraiser This is a long time excellent jeweler/appraiser and the services and work that they provide are excellent This complaint dealt solely with the lack of communication from the store staff in keeping me informed of the status of the order The owner has assured me that this issue is fixed.The business owner went far beyond in his service to make this transaction right and acceptable to me

In response to the complaint brought forth by Mr. [redacted], towards Alonso Jewelry Design.  Mr. [redacted] was referred to Alonso Jewelry Design to have his ring appraised and stones retighten.      We received Mr. [redacted]’s repair on April...

21, 2015, he brought in a white tone ring with clear white stones and a blue color heart stone in the center (bezel set).  The customer was notified at this time that the center stone was loose and several of the clear white stones were also loose, Mr. [redacted] requested for the appraisal to be done and for the center stone to bechecked and all of the prongs retightened on all of the loose clear white stones.     Once we started Mr. [redacted]’s repairs we encountered many unforeseeable issues.  Afterthe center stone was tightened and the initial loose stones were tightened, we proceededto polish the ring, while in the ultrasonic the other stones fell out, we hadto start the process all over again.  All of these repairs had to be done prior to the appraisal process.  Alonso Jewelry Design rebuilt the setting holding the heart shaped center stone and rebuilt the prongs on the additional clear white stones without additional cost to Mr. [redacted].     When receiving this complaint Mr. Alonso called Mr. [redacted] personally, Mr. [redacted] did not answer.  Mr. Alonso, left a message providing Mr. [redacted] with his personal mobile number, to date Mr. [redacted] has not returned Mr. Alonso’s call.     Alonso Jewelry Design repairs and appraises jewelry for customers very frequently, our work extends from the general public to other jewelry stores throughout the city.  Alonso Jewelry Design is dedicated to provide quality workmanship and excellent customer service to the many referrals and/or walk in customers we continue to receive.                                                                                  Respectfully,                                                                                [redacted].                                                                                Graduate Gemologist/Appraiser                              ...⇄ Member N.A.J.A
