I have been a loyal and steady customer for years and recently ordered frozen foods which I have done in the pastThis order was shipped with small ice packs and no dry iceThe frozen goods came warm and slimyWhen I emailed to complain and asked them to replace my items (valued around $45) they refused telling me the package was shipped properlyWhen I told them it wasn't they then said I was outside of the hour window so won't replace the itemsAre you kidding me? This is the one and only time I have asked them to replace an item they failed to ship properly and that's their response? DisgracefulIt's obvious they do not stand behind their products and have no level of customer service
Before Christmas I visited British Delights to purchase some items, including a cup Brown Betty teapot The cashier (a younger female with long dark hair and glasses) wrapped up the teapot for my drive home When I arrived home, I realized that she forgot to include my lid I called the company twice, leaving a message once and requesting a call back, which I did not receive and speaking with a gentleman who said he would look into it and would call me back, which he never did I called today and spoke with the cashier who packed up my teapot and she acknowledged that she had made the mistake I told her that I would like them to send me a new lid for the teapot She stated that she needed to speak with someone and that she would call me back She did call me back and proceeded to tell me that I WOULD NEED TO PAY FOR THE SHIPPING COSTS for her mistake I told her that it was unacceptable and that I would not pay to have them send me a new top because it was her mistake She
