Alpha Auto Sales

I purchased a Subaru Outback from Alpha Auto Sales on January 27, 2020. The owner, Russell ***, detailed out to me all of the repairs he had allegedly done or had done by a separate shop, to include replacement of the power steering pump, and replacement of the serpentine belt and pullies. Mr. looked us in the eye and ensured my fiance and I that this vehicle was a "mechanically sound, reliable vehicle" that I could trust to get myself from work and home, and to transport my 9 year old daughter in. Fast forward only 5 days and the "Check Engine" light on the vehicle comes on and a very noticeable knocking noise starts. I contacted Mr. who apologized and stated he could get the vehicle in for an appointment to see what the issue is. My fiance drove the vehicle from our home 45 miles in a snow storm to deliver the car to Mr. to ensure we didn't miss our appointment on Tuesday February 4, 2020. It was at that appointment that it was discovered the incorrect weight of oil had been added to the vehicle by the alternate shop hired by Mr. to do repairs, causing multiple issues. Mr. alleged he had the necessary repairs done to alleviate these issues, and that the vehicle was now again in "mechanically sound, reliable" condition. Less than 24 hours after picking up the vehicle from Mr. again, the vehicle has now began smoking from the engine bay and leaking high quantities of antifreeze. Mr. now states that there is nothing he can do, and I am now left stranded with no transportation to get to and from work, nor transport my daughter.
