I am rejecting this response because: When I took the cracked screen to be replaced the iPad workedWhen I picked it up it did not work, the owner said he would fix itHe tried and tried and my iPad does not workHe needs to give my $back that I paid for him to fix the screenHis business should have insurance for a situation like this in which, a repair is attempted and does much more harm and leaves the device unusableI had already attached a video of the iPad not working to this caseMy iPad worked but had a cracked screen, now it does not workIf I had spent $more and taken it to the Apple Store and if attempting to repair it had made it unusable they would have replaced the item for me, not just kept my money and given me an unusable item

ok here is the technical aspect, your screen was shattered..YESyou paid for a digitizer replacement, and yes that is complete, What you did not pay for was the LCD screen that needed to be replaced, in order to get it fully functional, you nor I could of know the LCD was cracked internally, because when it is in its original place it can be held by the original adhesiveand thankfully it was there because of the liquid seeping out from your screen.WHAT is not covered by a digitizer repair is THE LCD SCREEN, any switches, button, Ribbon cables, and anything else, you paid for a replacement digitizer screen, and that is what service was performedthe digitizer screen is replaced!!! what I WILL not cover is other internal damage cause by anything else that was damages prior to my repairing of the unitYou think I am going to repair hundreds of dollars worth of problems because you had one service performed, One service does not equate to a total overhaul of your ipad!!when you say it worked your screen was shattered, you came in to have that replacedi performed that repair!! may time to make it as right as possible but when something else is wrong and that was not done by me nor covered under the repair of said service I will not do it for free, sorryyou may not have known it was leaking nor did I, but the fact of the matter is that it was leaking and damage had been done prior to me ever touching the item, you may not have noticed it because it was in the original position and flexed to the broken position and made intermittent contact which would not allow it to show its problem until it was disturbed, once disturbed it showed its true electronic failure. Electronics are not as pliable as you may thinkthey don't tend to agree with any fluid, nor do they like to be disturbed if there already on the fritz. you paid to have a broken digitizer repairedThat service has been repaird, the digitizer does not have anything to do with the situation in which your ipad in having, no way shape nor form

This complaint is without merit

When Mrs [redacted] bought her item in to me to have it repaired the screen was severely cracked upon further inspection while undergoing the repair the first time I noticed that the LCD screen was cracked in the corners allowing the liquid to leak out.We’ve been...

notified Mrs [redacted] of the screen and condition we replaced not only the outer digitizer replace the home button we replaced the camera assembly bracket also replaced the LCD screen because without it being replaced the initial repair would have been a waste you would still have a leaking screen inside of an iPad causing more damage than what already had been done
Mrs. [redacted] came to pick up the item she took it home she had it home for about 4-5 days and called me and said something wasn’t right I since then has replaced the outer digitizer 2 more times.
I've been contacted apple and we performed an internal deep diagnosis and has discovered that the internal gyro switch which also controls the orientation of the unit is faulty is this came from liquid from the LCD screen causing damage to that particular circuit.
I can use the old analogy of if you go to a brake shop and have your brakes worked on you can not come back and say your motor is blown the two have nothing to do with one another. The outer digitizer has nothing to do with a gyration for the orientation switch which is defective caused by a leaking LCD screen.
This is [redacted] has come to my facility and inspected the screen and also saw that the screen that should initially paid for to have replaced has been performed misses [redacted] did not pay for the LCD screen replacement that we put in because she claims that we did not notify her that is an $80 charge that my business chose to eat in good faith just to keep her happy.
She just recently come to my store inspected the unit and told me that the unit is still doing the same exact thing as it was and I informed her that because of the additional part that is needed to repair the unit it would be another charge she chose not to pay for it and also chose not to take her unit with her after all of her complaints why would she leave her beloved ipad with my business I will no longer work on this iPad and you work that will be done will be sent to Cupertino California for Apple I will not warranty this item anymore longer she has been very irrational has gone on social media and drag my business name through the mud she’s created essentially a witch hunt for my business inciting poor business practice.
I ensure you that every single iPad that goes through my store gets the exact same attention I perform about 60 to 80 repairs a month just on iPads.
I do not understand what part she doesn’t understand that just because I performed a front cover digitizer replacement that doesn’t mean it covers all repairs one damage had nothing to do with the other damage.I have had this iPad in my possession longer than I care to and then she come in to inspect it and had no intentions of removing it and that right there released me of liability because she was well capable of removing her items and she chose not to I informed mrs. [redacted] that I would no longer be responsible for this machine and she just simply threw her hands up in the air.
I was willing to be the better person and go half on the repair just to make amends and calm the seas of this complaint but after seeing what miss [redacted] has done socially I am no longer willing to do this.

I am rejecting this response because:
When I took the cracked screen to be replaced the iPad worked. When I picked it up it did not work, the owner said he would fix it. He tried and tried and my iPad does not work. He needs to give my $70 back that I paid for him to fix the screen. His business should have insurance for a situation like this in which, a repair is attempted and does much more harm and leaves the device unusable. I had already attached a video of the iPad not working to this case. My iPad worked but had a cracked screen, now it does not work. If I had spent $30 more and taken it to the Apple Store and if attempting to repair it had made it unusable they would have replaced the item for me, not just kept my money and given me an unusable item.
