Review: We hired the Alpha Construction and Remodeling Company to install hardwood flooring in our house. Its manager- [redacted], appeared very knowledgeable about flooring installation and sounded very convincing. After careful review of multiple offers, we selected this company , mainly for the lower price. We were so wrong!!! The saying: "You get what you pay for", applied to our case. First of all, this company has no permanent employees, except its supervisor, he was bringing different people every day, to our house, they all could not speak English, and appeared as novices, who could not handle even simple tools. They could not even measure the material correctly and as a result, wasted at least 20-25% of it. This company owner finds cheapest labor on a street and tries to make a quick buck. Even though, we agreed to have the project done within the week, it took them full 4 weeks to complete it, and we still finding issues with the flooring. The are numerous cracks, squeaks, marble and hardwood flooring misaligned,our staircases which we removed prior to install, do no fit anymore.At the end of the project, we ended up with horribly looking flooring, dirty house and missing tools!!! Lastly, per contract, this company promised to fix any issues within 1 year after install. The owner, brought us a guy last weekend, who spent 6 hours trying to cut 1 piece of board, wasted 8 boards as result, and didn't finish the project. We sent him away and the owner told us that he is done " helping us" !! We are left with damaged flooring and no prospects of getting that contractor to comae back to our house and repair our flooring, per warranty that the company had agreed to honor in its contract. I just checked this company on Virginia DPOR website and could not find a license under the manager's or his company name. I don't think, he even has a license as a contractor. I want the full refund or a reimbursemnt for the repairs which will be done by another company.Desired Settlement: Full refund or reimbursemnt of expenses that will occur, once we hire an another company to repair or fix our flooring
