Review: On April, 1, 2015,[redacted] the owner of this Alpha copier service was called by me to come and service my [redacted] copy machine which had a problem of paper jamming. I was told that their is a $85 service call and $20 fuel charge. I said fine. [redacted] himself came out and checked the printer and said it would need a heated assembly part that cost $229 plus tax and it would need to be ordered from samsung.I said fine lets do that. He also stated that once the part comes in he will come install it free of charge and that was also in the contract. One week passed by and I have not heard from him. The second week I called and his response was "I will call the company and I will call you back in about an hour" NO CALL WAS RETURNED. Three days later I called again and I was told the same exact words but instead of an hour by the end of the day. Since I was told the item is still in back order I found it on ebay and I went ahead an ordered it for $140. Once it arrived I installed it and the copy machine was still jamming therefore, that part was not the main cause of the problem. On April 29,2015 I called [redacted] and he said I will come by in the evening to install it but he ended up calling back with a rediculous story of him hauling a trailer in San Jose and was not able to make it. I got tired of this run around and would like to be refunded the service charge because I did not get what I paid for.Desired Settlement: A refund of the service charge $105

Review: [redacted] from Alpha Copier Service was paid in cash on 8/23/13 and 8/28/13 for service and parts that he never came back to install.

On 8/23/13 [redacted] came out to service our Xerox Work Centre 7125 and Brother MFC 9440CN. He determined that the yellow drum unit($369.95) needed to be replaced on the Xerox and the belt unit($89.95) for the Brother. We paid cash in advance for those parts which he signed acceptance of on invoice# XXXXXX. When the black ink stopped printing on the Xerox a couple days later [redacted] came back on 8/28/13 and determined that the black drum unit($369.95) also needed replacing. He said that he could add that to the existing order and come back to install everything at once.

He asked for payment for the part in advance, which we paid in good faith, and said he should have the parts in a week. He wrote a second invoice w/ the same # and signed for receipt of payment. After a week w/ no word I began reaching out to him by text(9/4) and by phone(9/6). Four days later he responded by saying that the parts were back ordered and that he would be back no later than Thurs of that week. He "no call, no showed" on that appointment. I texted again (9/13)asking what happened, he said the same thing about waiting to hear on parts and after that never followed up on delivery. I have tried to reach him on 9/17, 9/20, 9/27, 10/7, 10/15 to check in on the parts status. I stressed that while we understand busy schedules, back orders, etc it is unprofessional to let things linger this long and that we need him to commit to a date for install or we will write a negative Yelp review. He has either ignored or made failed promises of an arrival date only to "no call, no show". (9/4, 9/20, 10/8) I made one last call on 10/15 and practically pleaded with him to call; that I don't want to have to report this to the Revdex.com and that all we want is the parts. No response on his part, thus the action I am taking now. Desired Settlement: We no longer want him to come back to finish the job and would like to be refunded for everything except a power surge unit that we will keep. That would be a total of $1177.62.($89.95 for the belt unit and $739.70 for the black/yellow drum units,$28 for the 3-day delivery fee, $245 for labor that was not completed, and $74.97 for tax on items never received. Review: Not competent, not responsive, expensive, deceitful

Hours late for multiple service calls. Incompetent repairs, problem not fixed. Spent a lot of time explaining why many other services were required (padding the bill). Would not return calls after getting paid.Desired Settlement: That they refund every penny we paid them since all equipment is still having same problems and return the equipment they took to repair and never brought back.
