Let me start by offering my apologiesI understand the issue first was the perceived lack of completion of the job performed, and the second issue being a communication breakdown on our part.After reviewing the complaint and reading our paperwork, I see that we had addressed these first items on the day of the installWhat the installing technician explained was on new overhead door installs, it is uncommon to attach handles or step plates on the exterior surface of the doorIt was explained that when new homes are built, they rarely include a garage door opener to open, close, and secure the door so external handles and keyed locks are then requiredThey are eliminated when a new door replaces the old to prevent possible damage if the lock is engagedA garage door opener does the work at this point and handles are unnecessarySeveral other reasons behind it, if the door is being manually opened and closed from outside, it can possibly cause injuries when lowering the doorA gap between the sections when traveling through the track radius offers a grab location that quickly turns into a unforgiving pinch hazardBy eliminating a possible hazard for our customer does not indicate taking advantage of anyoneIt indicates our unsuccessful attempt to educate the customer why it was and the benefit of it being eliminatedTo address our breakdown in communication, it is an issue that is being addressedWe are not a perfect business, our daily routine and systems have weak points and this exposes one of themIts inexcusable but now can be improved upon

Alpha Door Systems replaced our working garage doors with openers We payed more money than our neighbors for insulated doors with a new opener motors We got busy, my husband got sick I did not feel the need to check the work as the yelp reviews were excellent I take full responsibility in stupidly trusting in a local business I got into my truck as I was waiting to take my husband to rehab I noticed to my horror that the trim on around the garage door was disgusting and roiting paint peeling the rubber is corroded when we replaced our doors which worked our old doors that worked perfectly because I didn't like the way they looked with hail damage I didn't think they would leave the old ugly trim around my new garage doors I've been calling them since November and Amber the woman who answers the phone says that he'll call me back he'll call me back his name is [redacted] I don't know his last name finally I get a call back and he says he'll come and take a look at it and he sa
