I was charged $575.00 for a part that I could have paid 33.00 - 40.00 for. I called the service manager and he has not returned my phone call. I will not call them again. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

We have been with Air 3000 for a number of years. They replaced 2 central units and installed 2 new mini-splits. We experienced some issues in the past, but all were corrected. With the newer staff in the administrative office and the return of a very knowledgeable technician, Sal, this company is on the right course and doing a fine job for us. We will continue to use them as our AC service company.

Air3000 apparent a/c technician came out to try and fix my air condition (a/c) unit but could not get the a/c unit to work outside but was working inside (inside unit in attic). The apparent technician could not figure out why the outside unit would not turn on, but the inside unit was blowing air and working fine. After sometime of not being able to find the issue, the apparent technician decides that the issue is electrical. Mentioned to the apparent technician that everything in my house is working and running fine to include the a/c unit in the attic. All though the apparent a/c technician is not an electrician, which he himself said he was not, he decided to disconnect the electrical breakers outside. He tried to put them back in and when he did he torqued the wiring which blew out the electrical box which obviously provided electricity to our home. We were without electricity for over a week. When I called the company to let them know what he did, they at first said they were not going to pay for any damages. Then I received a call back and the receptionist that I had been speaking with on this matter told me they were going to try and resolve the matter and see what they can do. I was to first pay for the electrical work and then I was to email them the invoice for the work (which I did) and they will get back with me. The receptionist indicated that they will need to "investigate the issue" to see if they will pay. However, they have not communicated with me where they are in this process. Next Tuesday, Nov 12 will be a month already that I've sent in the invoice and every time I call its something different. I can never speak to the person that is apparently "working" on the "investigation" and reimbursement/payment. They always tell me they will call back and they do not. I have to do the calling and I have given them plenty of time to resolve this issue since we have been dealing with this since September 28, 2019 when the apparent service was done.

Writing this communication to let you know that the issue/concern with company Air 3000 has been resolved. The company did issue me a check today, November 25, 2019 in the amount of $2822.95 for the repairs to our electrical unit at 1347 E Highland, San Antonio, Texas 78210.

The company communicated with me where they were in the process to bring us to this point. Air 3000 did make right an unfortunate event and I'm happy that they stuck to their word. I pray much success for this company.

Air3000 was contracted to replace 3 roll out switches on a Goodman furnace to fix an issue. The company documented that the work was done, and my check was cashed, paying for the work. After the problem with the furnace persisted, I called a different HVAC company to look at it. The second company confirmed that the switches were not replaced. The supposedly "brand new" switches were covered in dust with visible signs of age on the metal. Air3000 has claimed that there are more rollout switches than those I am seeing, but I called the furnace manufacturer to confirm the total number. Air3000 did not complete the work that they claim to have completed or did so using used parts. They were paid to install new switches and claim to have done so. They did not do so.

In December 2017, I purchased a new air conditioning system for a purchase price of $9000.00. The company charged me $9,300.00 and I have had problems getting Air300 to resolve this issue with the finance company. Additionally, I was suppose to be issued a rebate of $1,815.00 which Air3000 never submitted to the local utility company. I have attempted since bnb Dec 17 to resolve this issue without results. The current staff now blames the past staff for not following through. They refuse to return calls or allow me to speak to upper management. I am totally at at loss as to why what seems to be easy to resolve is so very hard for them. Would appreciate some truthful answers and a resolution. I provided AIR3000 with documents to help them solve this problem.

Alpha Home Services Response • Oct 01, 2018

OK I AM TRYING TO GET IN CONTACT WITH CPS TO GET THAT REBATE SENT TO AND APPROVED SINCE THEY ONLY GIVE US 30 DAYS FROM THE DAY OF THE INSTALL TO SUBMIT THE PAPERWORK. DOING THE REFUND SHOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM WILL GET BACK TO YOU AS SOON AS I HAVE AN ANSWER.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. However, they have not addressed my complaint with Synchrony Bank regarding crediting my account the $300.00 overcharge.

Customer Response • Dec 05, 2018

I am rejecting this response because:

Air3000 has not resolved initial complaint.

1. I have not received my energy rebate of $1,815.00 from CPS.

2. My account with Synchrony Bank which financed the installation of the system has not been credited for the $300.00 overcharge on the loan. I contacted the bank and they informed me that they had received no communications from Air3000 regarding the overcharge.

I am satisfied with the response provided by the business for refund of $300.00. My request for the CPS Rebate has not been satisfied as of yet

It is hard to believe that an un-reliable company with poor customer service has an A+ rating with the Revdex.com. I started using Air3000 in 2016 in which they came out and replaced my unit, $3500. They have been out to my home approx. 5 times since then for routine maintenance check ups or for small issues. Every time, they are late or miss the appointment or don't call at all. The ladies in the office don't always know what is going on and lie about where the techs are and if they are even in-route to your house. When the techs do show up, they are un-prepared and not very professional. At one appointment, the tech showed up with out a ladder for my a/c unit in the attic and I had to wait 1.5 hours for him to come back. They also give me ridiculous costing quotes for things that are supposedly wrong. I need a condenser, I need to have the attic insulation re-done, I need to have the drain pipe re-ran. All ways to get more money out of me. They even charged me for a FREE follow up maintenance service in Sept. of last year. When I called the office to notify the girls there, I was told a number of lies over the next 3 months about when I would receive my refund. "It's in the mail, a tech will bring it, I will deliver it myself." I didn't receive the check until Dec. 23! Today was the final straw. I had an appt from 10am-12pm. I received a call at 1006a that a tech was in-route and would be at my house in 30 min. I called at 1130am to find out that the tech was delayed by an hour and a half at the previous job. A straight out lie, he was never even in-route. I called the office to talk to a manager to cancel my appointment. I was told that the GM and the Manager were not in. Upon telling the girls that I wanted to cancel my appointment, I was put on hold for 5 minutes to "wait for a Manager." Another lie. I cancelled my appointment and asked to be taken off of their call list. If you want the run around, un-reliable service, no service and extra charges everytime they visit, then this is the company for you. My advice...stay away. If you don't believe me, investigate and read the reviews. Yelp, Google and Revdex.com are pretty accurate.

Time is valuable to both customers and businesses and booking and keeping appointments is good service. I bought a new system--indoor and outdoor from Air 3000 in 2014 with the promise of 4 included free maintenance check-ups. Showed up on time for the problem(paid) and for the installation of the systems(paid)...but for free included maintenance APPOINTMENTS they have consistently forgotten and left me waiting with no phone call or status update...some excuse about having to wait another somewhat hours two years in a row. HIGHLY unreliable and poor customer service.

June 2018: Air 3000 calls on a regular basis, offering "cheap AC check-ups and freon fills". Unfortunately, we've used them a few times. Each time resulting in them telling us we need new units (we have 2), but never having the necessary freon and/or the equipment to even check the freon level. Well, we recently had an issue with one unit, temp was not setting properly. We thought there was a "leak", as Air 3000 had previously told us this. But, fortunately this time called a recommended company. New company informed us that the prior tech had not replaced the end caps (that would be Air 3000) and that was "the leak". This type of "service" appears to be trickery in order to get home owners to buy unnecessary new AC units, under the guise of providing a check-up and ultimately harming homeowner for their own profit.
From 08/06/2015: We have had Air3000 "service" our AC home units 4 times. Each time, the representatives have told us of our units problems and only recommended that we buy a new unit from them...for a mere few hundred dollars a month on a payment plan. Two days ago, a representative showed up and gave us the same sales pitch "You have a leak in one of your units and we can get you a new unit for only a hundred or so a month". He went on to say that the other unit had an additional pound of coolant. He drained that one. Than he said the one with the leak was down 4 pounds. We asked him about checking where the leak was or replacing the coolant. He did not bother to bring along coolant. This tells me that these are not "service calls", rather a sales call to sell new units. We called the main office to request that someone return the next day to replace the coolant in the low unit. Although they said someone would come, no one showed up. We called again today. Someone came at 6:30 pm. He told us that the last representative's tools were not working or calibrated correctly from the visit 2 days ago and that this had been known by Air3000. This second representative stated that the one unit that was originally over by a pound was adjusted by him appropriately and that the unit originally found to be deficient by 4 pounds was down 2. He then replaced the 2 pounds of coolant. Needless to say, my opinion of this company is that they want to collect a minimum of $54 for a home visit to conduct a so called "service visit", which amounts to a sales pitch in which they get paid for doing nothing. What reputable company would send out service reps without having tools to "service" the item that they are supposedly servicing? Would not recommend doing business with this company if you are looking to keep your current units maintained and lasting well for their life cycle.

This company was called out to our home once for a job that they could not correctly fix (warranty and claimed the problem was not a warranted issue which was since disproven and another company came out to perform the work).
Since then they have relentlessly harrassed me monthly with calls to both my home and cell phone. Both Air3000 and plumbing 3000 call for either my dead mother, who lived with me at one time, or me, and despite calls and letters, they continue to call my home and cell phone and will not leave me alone.
I have begged to be ermovedfrom their phone bank and use Jon Wayne but they still harass me constantly.

Alpha Home Services Response • Feb 14, 2018

Please accept our sincerest apologies for contacting you for services you are not wanting from AIR3000 or PLUMBING3000, our goal is to strive for excellent customer service. To hear that we have caused you to feel harassed is not a goal we aspire to. I did look in the database and see that you asked to be removed from out call list. I will personally go and speak to our CRS's and make sure they also filter through their lists so that you are no longer contacted. Again my apologies, should you ever be contacted again by anyone here at our office. Please ask for *** or *** immediately so that we can address the issue accordingly.

Best Regards

I called out air 3000 to come and look at my air unit. They showed up in a timely manner and seem very polite. Little did I know that they were going to try and steal from my grandmother. They came to check the thermostat for the AC unit because the AC was not working. When I called them they told me it was covered under warranty and it would be free of charge. After they looked at the thermostat they told me it would be a $40 charge because they did not install the AC unit. I asked them to install a thermostat for me they were going to charge 175 for that. After agreeing to that they continue to look at the system and told me the circuit board had been blown by using the wrong size fuse. They've been informed me that in order to have my AC work again it would be $1,400. So I had another AC company come out and look at it because I couldn't believe that it was going to be that much. The second company informed me the only thing was wrong is that the thermostat had burnt out not the circuit board. So the 1400 that they were trying to get from me in my opinion it's straight theft. And on top of that they would have replaced the circuit board that did not need to be replaced and my AC still wouldn't have worked so who knows how much they would have tried to Rob for my 79 year old grandmother. When I called to complain and to find out why they were trying to steal from a senior citizen they seem to not care and informed me that I could not talk to upper management. I filed a complaint with the company a supervisor apparently named *** who told me speaking to upper management was not going to happen. Those were her exact words.

Alpha Home Services Response • Feb 20, 2018

The Technician sent to your home was asked to go over their steps in coming to the diagnosis. After speaking with tech, it was decided that additional training was needed to attend additional training. In regards to *** she was placed on suspension along with an additional day of personal leave. She had received notice just minutes before her father had passed on. It is our belief she should not have been handling the phone, something she did agree to. We do apologize for the inconvenience and have refunded the customer their initial service call fee in full.

I would like to thank Miss. Desiree and Salvador. My parents at in their upper 80's. Not only was the office kind and prompt in service the technician, Sal was honest. He came out to my parents home for the winter heating check. He took his time he explained to us what he was going to be looking for. He even checked there attic to make sure everything was okay. All this for $20. He did not take advantage of my elderly parents. To me that is quality I like in an A.C. company.

I needed my a.c. repaired and my warranty company recommended Air 3000 out of San Antonio, TX. They arrived and installed the a.c. unit after hours. I was out of town so I had to do everything by phone so my wife could take care of the babies. They were unable to get the unit to work that night. The technician couldn't figure out the problem and said a master tech would have to show up the following day in the morning. The master tech arrived around 4 hours after they said they would get here which meant my family couldn't go anywhere and the indoor house temp was 85 degrees. When the master tech arrived he did not have the circuit board that was needed. He bypassed the circuit board to get the a.c. working until the part could be ordered. I scheduled an appointment to install the part which they canceled because the wrong part was ordered. I rescheduled and had to take time off for the install. They called an hour before they were supposed to arrive to cancel because the wrong part was ordered again. I rescheduled yet again and they assured me they would order the right part. By now I had already spoken to two different supervisors. When the tech arrived again, he told me they ordered the wrong circuit board yet again! By the time they got it right, they had been to my house 6 times! I was not happy by this point and asked to receive some sort of refund for all the errors and inconvenience air 3000 put me through. They agreed to issue a refund for my trouble. I was told it would be 3 to 5 days. I waited 7 days and no refund. I called and they told me it was processed already and they would look into it. I would call again and the supervisor would not return my calls even after leaving several messages. When I finally got a hold of her again I was told that someone had entered my card number incorrectly so I gave my card number again. I waited another 6 days and still no refund. When I got a hold of the supervisor she stated that it had been processed and that she would text me the confirmation. I never got the text. Once again my calls were ignored. I asked to speak with another supervisor and I had to explain everything again. I was told she would get back with me that afternoon and she never called. I waited until the next day to call back and was told the supervisor was in a meeting and that she would call me back. She never did. I waited another 2 days to call back and was told she was in a meeting again. This was in a period spanning over 30 days and still no refund. By then I told them I had given up on getting what they promised and that I would leave bad reviews with every site I could think of. They didn't seem to care much. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a company where they lie and ignore the customers.
