[redacted] I total disagree with this so called resolution, let me reinerate, the issue with these cheap shingles are not only with the Adhesive seal on them, the shingles themselves are very very poor quality and bt adding a " Bandaide" on this issue will only repeat itself in the future during winds that exceeds 30 mph, therefore the only resolution would be to replace the entire roof with a better quality shingle which can withstand wind speed well over 35 mph .Thank You[redacted]
We can not and nor are we required to warrant the home against extreme weather conditions. The damage was spread out across the Indianapolis area and new homes and older homes were all affected the same. Again what Arbor Homes has elected to do for their customers is to repair the shingles that were damaged from the most recent storm. We are offering to do this for homes that closed from 2012 to present. Since your home falls within that time period we will replace the damaged shingles for you just as we have offered to others that fall within the same time period. We are not replacing roofs, just repairing the damage caused by the wind storm.

[redacted] We did not damage the garage door. The door fell down without anyone around it. I have call the garage door company [redacted] Doors, they gladly came out inspected the garage door and did fix it.We were told by [redacted] Doors, this does rarely happen when two garage doors are on the same frequency. So proof we did not damage the door. But, Arbor Homes did not even try to find out what happened or how to fix the problem. Once they get your signature on the line they are done with you. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I bought this house in NOV 2013. The screen porch issue is just now getting resolved and still in a patchwork manner (APR 2015). This is after several attempts from me having to repeatedly communicate with Arbor Homes, with no follow-up and proper coordination. This is just one of the issues. I have had leaks in two bathrooms that have leaked through walls, so no telling what kind of damage that has been done there. Trimming in the downstairs was improperly installed, crooked. Now needs ALL be reinstalled, sealed and painted. I had a garbage disposal installed wrong. The lawn was subpar seeded, so now I have to spend money just to have a decent law and please the HOA. The claim of energy efficient is false, since I have energy bills that range in the $400 during winter months. The walls are paper thin with the bare minimum insulation. Mostly all the doors were hung at an angle which means they do not close properly. Clear caulk was used for counter tops which makes it look improperly cut. The empty lot looks like dump for excess material, thus causing a safety hazard. This was a new build home with the hopes of not having to have to do home improvements from day 1 and not to have contractors repeatedly having to come into my home to fix what they did not do in the first place. I have confirmed that the roofing portion of the warranty concern has been corrected within the last week. Our warranty manager has been in contact with Ms. [redacted] and has addressed the remaining 3 or 4 concerns that she has presented and we have issued work orders through our normal warranty system procedures to correct. The items should be taken care of with in the next 2-3 weeks barring any backorder situation items.I apologize for the initial confusion in getting this matter resolved!
