Maxim Magazine is using big data to target pre-teen boys this is completely irresponsible. Maxim Magazine publishes content that is intended for adults, and is filled with advertising that includes alcohol, chewing tobacco, and cigarettes. Many of the women depicted in Maxim Magazine are completely nude.  Maxim Magazine is using big data irresponsibility and targeting pre-teen boys illegally with products and services that are illegal to market to kids.I will require a written apology; I will also require information on what new process will be put in place to protect not only my kids but others as it relates to Maxim Magazines irresponsible use of big data. How will they prevent this from happening in the future?Maxim Magazine needs to find better more effective legal marketing solution as print continues to decline.

 I want the company to adjust my expiration date to match my magazine. Expiration date - March 2018

Review: Since March I have been receiving issues of Maxim magazine in the mail that I did not order. They went to the trash immediately as I consider them pornographic. Yesterday my 7 year old daughter collected the mail and She saw the contents of the magazine which included many pornographic pictures. I am furious that I received this magazine without my consent and that my daughter was exposed to such filth. I called Maxim today to figure out how I was receiving this magazine and to cancel. I was told that the magazine was ordered through South Data processing. I attempted to look it up but I have had no success in finding the company and I suspect it to be fraudulent. They also said that they could not stop shipment on the next issue as it was already batched. I do not consider this satisfactory.Desired Settlement: I do not want next issue delivered to my house. I want to know how the previous issues arrived and what process Maxim will follow to not do this to anyone else in the future

Review: My 11 year old son is receiving the Maxim Magazine; we have never ordered this nor want this Maxim Magazine in our home. It appears Maxim Magazine is targeting our young boy with sex-themed adult content. Maxim Magazine’s unethical marketing, big data collection, and consumer targeting is not being used responsibility.

It is not legal to send young kids Sexuality Explicit material, we demand that you remove and delete our house hold information and any big data that you have collected on our son.

Review: I originally signed up for a one year subscription, once that was over I never signed anything saying I'd like to continue; however was billed for a second subscription. Once they charged me- they didn't even send me the magazine for months. I had to make a claim with my credit card and sent SEVERAL e-mails to the company stating that I did not want a re-newal, wanted my money back, and didn't want to receive anything else from them. After I sent in my cancellation- I started receiving the magazine again. I went online and tried to cancel my subscription yet again; however the only thing you can do is send an e-mail and they don't even get back to you.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of $35 and I would like them to change their business practices of continuing to bill when I never signed up for more than a yearly contract. Also- they need to make the cancellation process much easier because their website is horrible and no one ever gets back to you about cancelling.

Review: Over the years my subscriptions to Maxim somehow grew from one to two. Since then I have tried to cancel the subscriptions every time they renew but for some reason I keep getting a renewed subscription over and over. I cancel, it goes away for a while and comes back again. Also, it is very difficult to cancel. And, whenever I try to enter the information from the front of the magazine into the [redacted] is says the account does not exist. The PO Box that it goes to has not been in my name for almost 10 years now.Desired Settlement: I want any and all subscriptions to Maxim magazine in my name to stop and never be renewed again. Ever.

A refund for the last several years would be nice but I'm not holding my breath on that.

Review: my son [redacted] is incarcerated he ordered the magazine in dec and paid for it from his doc account. in feb he was sent to a different location and he and I both notified them of his move. as of feb he still had not rec a magazine. he rec letters at the new location they could not find his subscription, in may again I notified them and was so aggravated that I told them he no longer wanted the magazine to cancel she said it was done that was the fourteenth of may he never rec his money back. I called again speaking to a supervisor his name also [redacted] and he stated they cut checks on the [redacted] and last day of the month and that it would be taken care of it is now june [redacted] and he has still not rec a magazine or his money. he really no longer wants to deal with them just want the money put back on his books. please help I have called a total of six to seven times and feel I have gotten the run around . they are to send the refund to the Missouri department of corrections for [redacted] they must add his doc number for it to post to his account. respectfully [redacted]Desired Settlement: they will send the money to [redacted] at the Missouri department of corrections
