Alpha Neonx Sign & Lighting L L C

Have contract with Alpha Neonx Sign to have LED sign made and hung. Alpha Neonx Sign has cashed my check for full amount of sign for $5,916.16 and now refuses to make the sign or give me the money back. I am currently opening a store and now am out about $6,000.00 dollars. The salesman has told me that the owner has lost the business and a new owner is taking over who also refuses to make the sign or give me money back. Have contacted police department for assistance and they said it is civil matter due to contract. I am now starting the process of suing Alpha Neonx Sign, owner Alpha Neonx Sign, and the new sign company, as soon as I confirm their name, who has taken over Alpha Neonx

sign. There are multiple businesses this is happening to who have contracts just like me with Alpha Neonx Sign. The new company has offered to make the sign at cost for about $3,800.00 which makes no sense since I already paid for sign in full. This is terrible business practice as the company buying Alpha Neonx Sign had to know of these problems before taking over. They should honor my contract or give me my money back. Since they will not honor my contract I have already hired a new company which is getting the job done and even made me a temporary sign. Therefore I just want my money back.
