Alpha Omega was initially called out to inspect the roof where the *** reside by the Realtor listing the propertyWe provided a detailed report recommending replacement of the flat portion areaThe sellers only agreed to repairs on
shingled portion of roofThe *** were given an estimate for replacement following their occupancyThey elected to go with a roof coating which we all felt would get them by until the main portion of the roof was replacedThe coating failed and Alpha Omega tarped roof until weather permitted us to look into other options/solutionsThe *** elected to allow us to replace the current roof system and install an updated new roofAlpha Omega also painted the interior ceiling of the sunroomThe *** are satisfied with the work and this matter has been resolved

Alpha Omega believed that the issues that were being reported were structural and not something they were responsible for. We went out 3 weeks ago and re inspected the roof. The report to Revdex.com and Alpha Omega concerned the back of the...
roof where we found no problems. We did however notice the shingled ridge vent which was installed at the request of owner needed to be removed as the pitch of the roof was too low to support this type of ventilation. It had not leaked but we needed to remove it to inspect a sag in the front portion of the roof which was not reported. It turned out that there was pre existing structural damages that were not noticed when roof was initially installed. 12 rafters and the front rafter pole was rotted. Alpha Omega removed sheathing and repaired the damaged area. Alpha Omega also repaired interior to homewners satisfaction. These damages were preexisting and not what the homeowners filed complaint about. The rear portion of roof was structural and sound with no rot or deficiencies.

NATURE OF DISPUTE:Alpha Omega installed a new roof in 2012. In December 2015 my roof started to leak. Temporary repairs were made, but no response on permanent repair
In May of 2012 Alpha Omega installed a new roof on my home, with a unlimited 10 year workmanship warranty. On or about 12/21/15 we received heavy rains and my roof started to leak. I called the next day and spoke to a woman in the office. Someone came out that day and made what he called "temporary repairs". He said the problem was the shingles needed to be overlapped along the ridge to adequately cover the gap. He said he "needed to go back to the office and discuss it with them to see what they wanted to do".
Today is 1/13/16 and I have since called the office twice, leaving a message each time.
No one has returned my calls.
DESIRED RESOLUTION::I want the warranty honored and the needed repairs done immediately.

Responded to initial response in December just before Christmas. We proved a temporary fix and tarped the area of concern. We are in route today to make sure this matter is resolved and the homeowners confidence in our services is restored.
