Note that I'm neither accepting nor rejecting the business response, I am replying to his question.Again, from my previous email: in the summer you said you would assess the problems and address them, possibly to add more fill to the deeper cracks, but you did not return to the site Here is what I am asking: that a professional make an assessment on-site and either (1) fix the problem with the deeper cracks, or (2) explain and show me why the problem cannot be fixed This would be done at no further cost to me.If you knew that the large cracks could not be properly repaired, that contradicts what you told me at the time, and you should not have charged me the full price

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:You have not offered to resolve the problem I described This is not a problem with the appearance of the driveway, it is a problem with its integrity following the repairThe cracks were not filled to the level of the driveway surface, they were filled to below the surface, and they collect and hold water and debris.In our last phone conversation in the summer you did explain that roof coating had been applied prior to your work, and that affected the texture of the material you applied At that time you also said you wanted us to be satisfied and agreed to return to the job site to assess the problems and to address them, possibly to add more fill to the deeper cracks This is how it was left before you stopped returning my calls and texts However, in your response you did not say you would correct this, you wrote that you contacted someone with his own company but "not to do work that has not been performed." I do understand from your email that the multiple smaller cracks will not visibly disappear.When I spoke with your wife she said that you had an accident and were experiencing medical problems, and she assured me that she was inventorying outstanding work -- mine and others' -- and would be back in touch She did not mention that your equipment was demolished Having tried repeatedly over many weeks to reach you, I don't have confidence that I will hear back if I use your direct contact info at this point.Sincerely, [redacted] ***
