We entered into separate contracts with Alpha Quality Builders and owner, John TM***, to (1) install/paint sheetrock over ceilings in kitchen/bath, (2) dining/hallway, plus dining wall painting and to (3) install backsplash/paint kitchen wallJohn committed to finish the kitchen/bath in days and the dining/hallway in daysWork started on 9/30/and days turned into a weekThe kitchen/bath ceilings were done but the rooms were left in a messFixtures were not returned, walls were dinged, paint was splattered on doors, cabinets, floor, and tub and their trash wasn't cleaned outDespite this, we paid contract in full on 10/9/believing John's commitment to clean up while they were finishing the remaining other contracts John did not complete the contracts in the specified time, damaged our house, trashed rooms, and kept promising to complete the work but never didHe was given a text notice on 10/10/that we needed everything completed by 10/15/As a result
