Alpha Radon Reduction

Review: Alpha Radon was contracted to mitigate the radon levels at my former property in January 2013. After speaking with [redacted] on the phone and reading Section F of the Alpha Radon proposal, both of which indicated Alpha Radon would "Seal major cracks in foundation walls", I was led to believe that Alpha Radon would resolve both radon mitigation and foundation wall repair. The radon mitigation system did resolve the radon issue. However, the foundation cracks were not sealed. This was discovered when my contractor performing all of the other repairs was in the home. I had to pay him an additional fee to have the cracks sealed as it was nearing the closing date when this was discovered. In two subsequent e-mails to Alpha Radon requesting a response to this issue and one letter to [redacted], President of Alpha Radon copying the Revdex.com of Metro Washington DC & Eastern Pennsylvania, I received no responses. I am disappointed by this lack of customer service. Note: in addition to Alpha Radon, [redacted] also operates a business called [redacted] in [redacted]Desired Settlement: To resolve this complaint, I am requesting a refund of $200, which includes $50 which I had to pay to have the work completed and an additional $150 for the time and effort it has taken to solicit a response from Alpha Radon.
