other children. Our duty as providers is to provide a safe and nurturing environment to all children in our care. Therefore, there are policies outlined in the parent handbook that our followed. It was never stated "That we do not take developmentally delayed children" and we do have adequate staff to care for all of the children in our care. This is why we request an copy of the IEP and any pertinent information from the parents to make sure that we are able properly care for the child. One of the most important policy is honesty about your child's behavior, She was asked to fill out all paperwork about her children behavior and she failed to disclose the violent behavior. The parent stated that her children had ADHD which is certainly not a problem. However extremely violent and destructive children that hurt other children raise concerns and are a risk to other children and staff, The mother in question was not honest about here children's disability nor their violent history. Her children had more than ADHD and required one-on-one care due to their behavior and we did not have the staff to provide one-on-one care for both of her children. After the first day (Monday) she was warned about both of the children's behavior. One child would bite and push the other children to the floor and the other child would bite and slap not only his classmates but staff and on one than more occasion remove his pants and underwear and play with his genitals under blankets that were used for nap time. The mother was notified and advised that she would put a belt on. And that she had additional toys, strategies and techniques that would correct their behavior and decrease their misbehavior, Either way this conversation took place before she paid Monday afternoon when she and her husband picked their children up. At that time they were warned. After this conversation the husband called the next day and complained about a scratch on the youngest son which was not present on the child when the child left on Monday evening. And never mentioned any marks until after we discussed their behavior again on Tuesday morning via phone. They were given a 24 hour notice that day (Monday) if there were any other violent episodes that put the other children or staff at risk they would not be able to attend the rest of the week. (And they agreed before they paid) On Tuesday, Her oldest son was responsible for biting and punching a staff member in her chest, breaking a door and two activity centers. They were not charged nor sent a bill for the damage. Her youngest son also had two additional incident reports for biting. The Registration fee was 50.00, the first child 185.00 and the youngest was 166.50.The overcharge of (.03) was a clerical error and we are sending a money order for the amount owned. In closing, one of the first things parents are required to do is read, initial each page of thecontact (there are 12 pages) and sign the last page. In which it states that there are "No REFUNDS FOR ANY MONIES PAID". If you have any additional questions please contact us. Best Regards,D.B.A Alphabetz & Company, LLCParent Handbook  Fee Payment Guidelines: We use Tuition Express and accept [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], and debit cards online at no additional charge.
