Prior to calling Alpine I was in tears I had a water leak. I need a new Drain pan and float switch. Wanting to incl Air Duct Cleaning coupon $44.95 Doing research I saw I need to get my Air Ducts clean. I remember seeing advertisements in the [redacted]. Never having my Air Ducts clean I thought this was a good deal $44.95 Offer includes unlimited vents 2 returns & main trunk line plus a free AC inspection. I called the company 919 [redacted] explained what had happen to me. I express needing a new Drain pan and Float switch. Two men came to my home [redacted] explaining to me how it is crucial that I need to get additional service and how I have two main lines which he drew a picture. I was stunned it came up to $774.90. I can not afford that so I decline the middle portion additional service. Then I was going to decline some other stuff but then he said you have to get both main lines done to do one that is cover under the coupon is a waste of money you got to do both. Believing him I agreed. Twice for a long period of time he was on the phone discussing my bill what I did not understand why did he have to go outside to the truck to make the call and the other time he stood outside my door. My main concern was I got to get this Drain pan and float. I was not comfprtable but again I never had my Air Ducts clean so I believe him. He did my downstairs by using my ladder and vaccuum the vents never took the covers off in my mind I was like wow I could have done that myself. Then he use a plastic whip for the Return but I notice he was not all the way up it was just at the tip. The other guy was upstair suppose to do the vents upstairs and the returns. After the downstairs guy finished I followed him upstair and look at the Return and I question it still look the same to me. I asked but his explanation made no sense to me. Later [redacted] tells me that I have one main and he drew a picture and said he is taking off $25.00 but he was still charging me for that mains on the Work Order contract. I keep calling my friend but I was getting no answer I knew there is something wrong here but I got to get this drain pan and float switch. He went back upstairs then the other guy came down claiming to be finished so we talk and then he asked me how many bedrooms do I have he realize he slip up and it proves he did not clean my vents and then I realize how could he have clean my vents with no ladder and that vaccuum was still downstair and he is finished. How do I say anything when I am alone there is two men in my house. I asked for [redacted] to write over my copy of the Estimate sheet to show all the cost that total $774.90 he refuse. Estimate sheet 2 mains Coupon Special $44.95 qty 1 Cleaning of Additiona supply and Return Mains $84.97 Qty 2 Access panelw/system resealing $50.00 and misc New Drain pan and float switch $300.00 these was the only cost he wrote over but as you see this does not total $774.90 you need a magnified glass to see the other additional cost to total $774.90. Later he informs me that I have one main said he is taking off $25.00. He still saying on the paperwork that I have two mains. I am still being fulling charge. One main is cover under the coupon. After talking to two friends describing what they did. I was told they scam me and over charge me. They agreed that I only have one main. Also told them how he inspected my AC outside he looked at it from a distance. I was in tears I knew something was wrong but what do I do when it is two men I am by myself. I made a complaint on Saturday, July 13 I was told she could not give me the owner or supervisor name. I gave her my Email to send me a readable copy of the Estimate I did not get it. I did get a call from [redacted] it was horrible he made me feel stupid He wanted to argue about the main when I told him his own employee change his mind and said I had one drew a picture. He telling me how long he been doing this and that he will have someone call me and come out and probably defend his employee. I informed him that my friend will be with me on Monday because he have experience. When he came downstairs after he told the other guy he was finished. He was talking to me then he asked me how many bedrooms do I have when all my bedrooms have vents and my bathroom also have vents. I wanted to cry because he is the one that was suppose to do the upstairs. He saw he slip up. As I describe the guy who did the downstairs Did not removing my vent covers. He had me believing the covers did not need to be removed. I was mislead and overcharge. So honestly my air ducts was not cleaned. I questioned about the Return upstair it looks the same. I could not figure out how did he do the Return upstair. The vaccum was downstairs and there was long plastic tube that was coming from the attic but not connected to this huge machine. They had an answer for everything. I need to get a drain pan and float switch ASAP.I need to find a company that is trustworthly, qualified, take pride in their work and honest and feel that it is important to have customer satisfaction. Company refuse to give me a readable Estimate sheet that shows all the cost that total $774.90. I had a coupon for $44.95. After making a complaint and getting a call Saturday, July 13 I was told I was going to get a call today Monday July 15 it is after 9PM no one called me today. As I explained above that individual called me Saturday evening only to make me feel stupid and want to argue with me. I am scare of this company I do not want them to install my drain pan and float switch. Also my friend and I went into the attic and there is a long wire that was cut what in the world was a wire cut. I have no idea where was this wire cut from. Not agreeing to $774.90. I agreed to $479,90 then he took $25.00 as I describe about not having another main total $454.90 I paid $200.00 cash. Please help me get my full refund $200.00 I got to find another company ASAP. Phone record will prove because my number is not 919 area code no calls was made to me today from this company as promise. Another thing As I was making this complaint there is different address then what is on the Revdex.com website but the phone number is the same on my work order the address for Alpine Air is [redacted] the phone number [redacted] and [redacted] is a different address on the Revdex.com. I called the number on the coupon [redacted]. Business Response Your records should be looked at again.
