After talking with Mr [redacted] and sending him a letter explaining to the credit agencies his credit application was sent to multiple banks in error, Mr [redacted] said problem is being resolved at this time If any further action needs to be taken we will be happy to work with him [redacted] Customer Relations Manager [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: While [redacted] is doing the letter and trying to repair the mistake, the problem is that the inquiries are still on my credit report and has been a nightmare I appreciate the attempts by [redacted] to correct the issue, however my credit will suffer for 2-years still causing me financial Losses on loans Shameful this happened at all, but I do Say thank you to [redacted] for trying to repair Sincerely, [redacted]

Upon investigation it appears that we (Alpine) did mistakenly run Mr. [redacted] credit report. This was done in error and we do apologize. We are sending a letter to the credit bureau explaining that it was our mistake and to ask for them to remove the inquiry from Mr. [redacted] file.

We reached out to Mr. [redacted] Jan 11th, 2018 and repaired all customers concerns at no charge on Jan 12th, 2018.  We repaired customers vehicle by replacing the thermostat and housing and replaced front brakes and rotors.  Customer picked up vehicle and was satisfied.

Our service team listened to the customer's concerns and tried our best to explain how a mistake might have been made. We also tried numerous times to make up for the error. We offered to reimburse him for the initial oil change or provide a...

future oil change at no cost, both of which he declined. He was concerned about damage to his engine, which is highly unlikely and would have appeared immediately after the first oil change, so we also offered to take the vehicle to the nearby Ford dealership to have the engine checked - at no cost to the customer. He declined this offer as well. We are upset that the customer was not satisfied, but do feel we offered what we could to set the situation right.
