Below is a response on this complaint from our General Manager [redacted] in joplin. After discussing this with [redacted] I agree with his statement below. Also in talking with [redacted] our Service Director the only service concern that we are...

aware of was a window concern that has been corrected. If she has any other concerns with her vehicle we will address them.

Mrs. [redacted] and [redacted] Hyundai agreed to a price and payment(which is on the signed contract). The customer had all concerning paperwork explained in detail to which she agreed and signed. Weeks after the fact Mrs. [redacted] started to dispute the numbers and Demanded money. After much time spent trying to explain the deal we could not get her to listen to what we were trying to explain. We decided to do whatever we could in good faith to keep her happy. We offered Her $1000 from us and to go ahead and pay her the $500 that Hyundai motors America owes her in the form of a rebate. $1500 total. She did not accept this number and the amount she is demanding has escalated. I feel we have went above and beyond to satisfy Mrs. [redacted].

I agreed to the price the salesman and I had discussed, which is not the price indicated on the contract. I did not think a reputable car dealership would alter the agreed upon price, so the contract was not checked line by line until I got home. Immediately after reviewing the contract details I contacted the salesman who confronted the acting manager on the day the car was purchased to ask why he had had the numbers altered; he gave no explanation, but acknowledged that he changed the prices and trade in value and shrugged when asked why. I returned to the dealership within a day or 2 and asked two things: that the contract be rewritten to reflect the agreement and that the check for title and taxes be corrected (it was incorrect) and was told by two women that it had already been sent to Hyundai finance. I returned to the dealership many times due to electrical malfunctions and asked each time. I kept in contact with the salesman asking if a reimbursement check had been written and what was holding the recall reimbursement check up. He approached the manager numerous times regarding the price difference as well as the tax and finance charge and monthly payment difference. No suitable solution from the manager was reached and I began contacting the manager myself, who eventually argued in a raised voice and insulted my intelligence. If the dealership had been honest and legally completed the contract in the first place this would never have happened. The issue is NOT resolved and I still have not received the recall rebate and doubt that it was ever turned in to the Hyundai corporation. These are legal violations and an appropriate resolution has not been offered at present.

Same answer as the AR Revdex.com complaint, lies to cover up deceptive sales practices. How sad.

Sorry for the later than normal response but [redacted] has been on vacation. I did verify with [redacted] that the numbers on the contract were what the customer agreed to and that there was no discrepancy. I also talked with our service Director [redacted] and as far as he knows the window issue was fixed under warranty and is no longer a concern if it is still a problem we will be more than happy to address that issue.

I have visited with our GM who has looked at the paperwork and it clearly states that customer to finance taxes. The problem is that the bank did not allow us to add all the taxes int to the deal and we did not note that anywhere on the due bill...

or contract as we should have. Our finance manager is fully responsible for this mistake and we will pay the customer the difference in what he has received and what the total taxes are,. Our GM Jason [redacted] will be contacting the customer to make this happen. I apologize that it had to come to this for the customer to get what he should have had day one.
