Review: WE BROUGHT OUR HOWARD MILLER MANTLE CLOCK TO ALPINE CLOCKS IN OCTOBER OF LAST YEAR. OUR CLOCK WAS NOT WORKING AND WAS IN NEED OF REPAIR. WE WERE GIVEN A CLAIM NUMBER AND TOLD THAT IT WOULD TAKE SOME TIME TO EVALUATE THE CLOCK TO DISCOVER WHAT REPAIRS WOULD BE NEEDED. WE WERE ALSO TOLD THAT WE WOULD BE CONTACTED WHEN ALL OF THE BEFORE MENTIONED HAD TAKEN PLACE. WE WERE NEVER CONTACTED AND HAD TO CONTACT ALPINE CLOCKS OURSELVES. MANY CALLS TO ALPINE CLOCKS FROM US HAVE TAKEN PLACE. EACH TIME WE CALL, THERE IS NO PROGRESS ON OUR CLOCK. WE RECEIVE VERY LITTLE COMMUNICATION FROM THIS BUSINESS AS TO THE STATUS OF OUR CLOCK. IT IS NOW JULY 1, 2015, AND OUR CLOCK IS STILL NOT REPAIRED. NOR CAN ANYONE TELL US WHEN IT WILL BE REAPAIRED.Desired Settlement: WE WOULD LIKE TO HAVE OUR CLOCK REPAIRED AND RETURNED TO US IMMEDIATELY. IF THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR ALPINE CLOCKS TO ACCOMPLISH, THEN WE WOULD LIKE OUR CLOCK RETURNED TO US SO THAT WE MAY POSSIBLY FIND ANOTHER BUSINESS THAT CAN HELP US.

Review: I brought a mantel clock in for repairs on January 25, 2016. It took about 4 weeks to get a repair cost. I told them to start the repair work. Since then I have made several phone calls to check on the status of my clock repair. No one ever calls me back and I can't get anyone to tell me when my clock will be ready for pick up. The following is some of the excuses I have been given: no one is available to talk to; they will relay my call to the repair technician and someone will call me back(never happens); it takes a while to repair clocks; they have a backlog. I just want to know the status of my repair, if the repair has even been started, and when my clock will be ready for pick up. I have paid $70 to them in order to get a repair cost. The repair will cost an additional $234.Desired Settlement: I want my clock repaired and in excellent condition ASAP. They have had had my clock much too long in my opinion.
