First of all my apologies to all. I volunteered to respond to the complaint received in early October, but due to a car accident and some health issues I was unable to do as promised
We appreciate the concerns addressed by *** *** in her October letter as per the remodel work
in her homeEnclosed is a copy of Alpine Construction's August 19, contract signed by Ms*** to perform interior remodel projects in her homeThe contract includes measurements of various projects, including the wacloset addressed in her complaint. The completed projects were the same size as stated within the contractIn fact, Ms*** was present when Terry C*** first measured the area for the wacloset and again when Terry and Gene an installer stepped off the area measured for the waclosetThe wacloset size was completed as contracted, but apparently it wasn't as large as Ms*** imagined it would beIt still can be enlargedUpon her request, Alpine will provide an estimate to enlarge the wacloset
The August 19, contract balance of $1,is now past dueWe have waived the $late fee for now and are allowing her another ten (10) days to pay the balance in full, before the contractual late fees apply

Thank you for the information you providedWe will contact you within the next couple days to discuss this notification.Mr*** signed a contract with Alpine Construction to install one egress casement window to the rear of his homeThere were frequent telephone conversations and emails
between Mr*** and Alpine regarding, scheduling, procedure and the projectWe have responded to his concerns and questions in a timely manner with the exception of the May letter.Apparently, Mr*** contacted the City of Cheney requesting an inspection of the egress windowThe inspection was completed on May 1, however Alpine Construction was not aware of the inspection until May 12, when Mr*** emailed a copy to Alpine. Mr***'s detailed complaint is being reviewed and further information is being gatheredThe corrections he suggests certainly do not add up to refunding the $2500.00, nor replacing the entire projectHe will be contacted by June to address his concerns

We have not responded to your phone calls in a timely mannerWe apologizeSince the major wind storm of November 17, we have had an extremely high number of phone calls from people whose homes were heavily damaged. Trees crashed through roofs and walls displacing people from their homesWe have given those families first priority while still trying our best to keep up with our valued customersPlus in recent weeks three of our employees have had major health issues resulting in a reduction of skilled installersOur employee who lives near you was scheduled to inspect and repair your roof, but is facing a major health concern and awaiting test resultsConsequently he has been unable to go to your home as planned
Yes, we should have called you, and we do ask for your patience a little bit longerWithin the next two weeks we will schedule someone to take care of that piece of roofing that hangs off the east side of your roofWe are sure this is merely a cosmetic issue, a minor fix and is not affecting the integrity of your roof

I am rejecting this response because the answer is both unsatisfactory and contains falsehoods.Putting us off further (until June 5th) without explanation is ridiculousAlpine has ignored several communications attempts since their failed attempt to make repairs. In their response to the Revdex.com, Alpine admits to not responding to our letter in which we requested a timely response, which by their admission they chose to ignore. Alpine, was not communicating with us and was therefore of no assistanceWe find it unconscionable that Alpine has chosen to respond to the City,
the Revdex.com and to *** (we are disputing payment) but not to us. Revdex.com,I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Alpine Construction is claiming that I agreed with the measurements for the walk-in closet when the only reason for agreement was due to Terry assuring me the measurements he took would allow for hanging rods on all entry ways. I did not give measurements as I am not a professional contractor and relied on his expertise with the measurements. I refuse their offer to fix the closet with the agreement that I pay them more to enlarge the closet as well as pay them the rest of the monies owed. I feel this contract was not met and the project incomplete. I offered a resolution for Alpine to consider the contract paid in full with the down payment and that they could not at any time file for lien against my property. They refused my offer. Regards,[redacted]

First of all my apologies to all.  I volunteered to respond to the complaint received in early October, but due to a car accident and some health issues I was unable to do as promised.
We appreciate the concerns addressed by [redacted] in her October 9 letter as per the remodel work...

in her home. Enclosed is a copy of Alpine Construction's August 19, 2015 contract signed by Ms. [redacted] to perform interior remodel projects in her home. The contract includes measurements of various projects, including the walk-in closet addressed in her complaint.  The completed projects were the same size as stated within the contract. In fact, Ms. [redacted] was present when Terry C[redacted] first measured the area for the walk-in closet and again when Terry and Gene an installer stepped off the area measured for the walk-in closet. The walk-in closet size was completed as contracted, but apparently it wasn't as large as Ms. [redacted] imagined it would be. It still can be enlarged. Upon her request, Alpine will provide an estimate to enlarge the walk-in closet.
The August 19, 2015 contract balance of $1,494.67 is now past due. We have waived the $40.00 late fee for now and are allowing her another ten (10) days to pay the balance in full, before the contractual late fees apply.

I am rejecting this response because the answer is both unsatisfactory and contains falsehoods.Putting us off further (until June 5th) without explanation is ridiculous. Alpine has ignored several communications attempts since their failed attempt to make repairs.  In their response to the Revdex.com, Alpine admits to not responding to our letter in which we requested a timely response, which by their admission they chose to ignore.  A property inspection was requested because we wanted to have all possible information before proceeding with further action.  Alpine, was not communicating with us and was therefore of no assistance. We find it unconscionable that Alpine has chosen to respond to the City,

In addition the building inspector reports that they spoke to Alpine via phone and email on May 16th,  disappointingly at no time during this did Alpine communicate with us.   It seems very much to us that Alpine left us holding the bag, in the form of a failed inspection and was ignoring us, hoping we would go away. In their response to the Revdex.com Alpine has rejected re-doing the project as well as a refund.  We are further angered and disappointed by this unreasonable position but offer a final compromise.  Alpine may keep the down payment which was used to purchase hardware.  The balance of the money will be refunded to us (either directly or via the credit dispute process via [redacted]) We will use this to offset the cost of properly completing the project ourselves.
