on 7/28/***0 Alpine Insurance sold *** an automobile policy.
On 7/29/***0 Ms Umoetuk rear ended my ***4 Jeep Cherokee in the Wingstop parking lot on riverside drive at approximately 5:40pm. She caused damage to the driver rear bumper.
My insurance, Progressive, reached out to her and she admitted fault.
Alpine Insurance,sells Anchor General Insurance they say. I was assigned claim number ***-***-782
I was assigned an adjuster from Anchor General Insurance by the name of Vanessa with the phone number ***-***-*** she said the claim was ***-***-***. she called 8/5/***0 at 7:58pm
I have called he back and left 3 messages. progressive insurance has also made attempts to call the adjuster.
I have called Alpine Insurance, they only say all Anchor. Anchor I made 3 attempts to talk to and waited on hold for approximately 5 hours.
I have waited more than the allowed 15 days from the State of Texas.
Alpine Insurance agency is not part of the claims process as we are not the carrier. We were unaware the claimant was having issues reaching the claims department. They could have contracted our agency directly and let us know and we would have been happy to help. I have forwarded this complaint to the company rep for Anchor. Mr *** or his carrier should be hearing from the company shortly. Thank you for making us aware of the problem.
