they lie about the car they sold to me they sold me a lemon.then when I try to take it back they are giving me a hard time.the car is a lemon[redacted].purchase august 1 2015.they gave me a phony warranty saying I brought car july 10 2015.I have all my paperwork.the car need $5000.00worth of work .when I brought car they said it needed only left front wheel fix transmission was bad they fix that but lied about everything else I went to them in good faith, the girl that sold me the car no longer work for them.I took it to [redacted] and had work done. took it to [redacted] had work done the whole car is just rotten. I have contacted them about 15 time trying to get another car.I live about 75 miles away from Raleigh.I had battery replace,I have cabinet air filters replace.I had gas struts replace,oil filters replace,wheel balances tire rotations.it needneeds valve cover gaskets,it need oil pan it need lower control arms ,it needstie rods on front,it needs trailing arm, it needs gas struts back , it needs exhaust system oil leaking on altenator. first work ihad done was at [redacted] in [redacted] north Carolina on august ,4 2015 the next time was sept 10,2015 at [redacted].they put it on machine that how I found out they so me a lemon try calling they not answer. they claim they done an aligment not true they claim they done valve gaskets not true,said they fix axle on left front not true,the only thing they fix was the transmission gave me aold use transmission,had car work on October ,10,2015 at [redacted] in [redacted] north Carolina paid $1000.00 for that work that when I really found out they lie about everything this is my first car so I didn't know people would do this.I believe them when they said it wasn't that much wrong with the car. they also lie about the milage on the car said it only had a 144,000 miles when it actually had 168,ooo miles.they warranty they gave me will not fix car they got on warranty I purchase car in july when I purchase car august ,1 2015 my vin no is[redacted] phone no is[redacted] the [redacted] warranty phone no is[redacted] the warranty is in my sister name as I don't drive yet her name is [redacted] I have all my paperwork if you need it./////Desired SettlementI would like to get my money back or they give me a better car .paid 5,526.82 for car and have spent over 1,500.00 on repairs. the mechanic at [redacted] show us under the car it is rotten the exhaust system have heavy rust the rest have been patch up. that why I want to mail all my paper work to you all. also they fire the girl that sold me the car her name is Hope.everybody that work there just lie. I never want to deal with peoles like that again./////

We purchased a vehicle from Alpine/Skyline Motors ("[redacted]") on February 15. They say they aren't Skyline Motors, but the initial vehicle we drove was listed on the Skyline website, which I have a screenshot of. The VERY next day the engine light came on and we notified the dealer we would like a refund. He ignored our request and asked me to bring the vehicle in. Instead, I took it to the Acura dealer (the vehicle is Acura) and was told here is $6,000 worth of work that needed to be done. The vehicle STALLED on the way to the Acura dealer! At this point, I do not feel this vehicle is reliable. We paid in cash, and within 24 hours of the sale requested a refund. We have been given the run-around for DAYS. At this time (2/20/2014)Alpine motors has possession of my money AND the vehicle. The vehicle needs a transmission, and I believe Alpine Motors knew of this defect when they sold me the car. This is fraud and deceptive business practices, and I do not wish to have the vehicle repaired. Please refund my money. The NC Attorney General will be contacted next, and then the local news channel. You may close the case.Consumer Response We were told on March 27 that a refund could not be issued by [redacted] because he had to purchase tickets for his family to go home for a funeral. We were asked to accept $200 and we declined.
