Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I did indeed report the Alpine to the health department, and was very forthcoming about my intention to do so with the Revdex.comand I also informed the health inspector that I was contacting the Revdex.comWhether or not Wisconsin County Health Services passed that particular cabin (which I will be double-checking) after our party stayed in the cottage is irrelevantAccording to the photos that I have provided to the Revdex.com, the cottage was filthy and had insects at the time of our staying, as did my uncle's cabin next doorMy mother's breathing was endangered by the accommodations provided.The first four people who booked the room did stay, but not because they wanted toThey had to due to breathing machines and the time of the nightMy husband and I refused the alternate room offered because of knowledge we had of the rooms in the main lodge also being filthyMoving from one disgusting room to another at 10:30pm is not an acceptabl resolution to such a glaring issue, and believing that that's the only accepting resolution is not good customer serviceBecause the cabin was booked for a base rate of four people and the "last couple" adding on in fees, I do certainly understand Ms [redacted] 's logicHowever, Ms [redacted] must also take into consideration that that is not how guests will divide costsAll six people in the cabin will divide the cost equally, which is what we didI would also like to reiterate that at 9:30am, Ms [redacted] did offer me a 2/7th refund, then changed her mind later in the afternoonWhile also being very rude in doing so.Being a long-standing, family-run business, Ms [redacted] should certainly realize that customer service is importantJudging by additional online reviews, I am certainly not the only one to see these issues at the Alpine ResortI do seem to be the first person to speak up, however.My original request of the refund amount of stands.Regards,Katie [redacted] Regards, Katie [redacted]

Dear Revdex.com, We have read the attached complaintIt is correct that a reservation was made for the nights of September 9th and 10th, in a three bedroom cottage located on the grounds of Alpine Resort & GolfThe reservation was made under another name than that of the complaint authorThe complaint author stated she was not happy with her accommodationWe offered an alternative accommodation but she did not accept the offerThe party that originally booked the cottage stayed in the cottage for the two nights reserved and paid for the two nightsWe are disappointed that the complaint author was not happy with the cottageWe have a historic family business and work hard to provide a great experience for our customersAdditionally, the complaint author reported our business to the State of Wisconsin Department of Health ServicesThis particular cottage was recently inspected by a representative of the department and the inspection passed with no issues to reportEmily [redacted] and Cindy [redacted] Alpine Resort & Golf

I would also like to reiterate that at 9:30am, Ms. [redacted] did offer me a 2/7th refund, then changed her mind later in the afternoon. While also being very rude in doing so.Being a long-standing, family-run business, Ms. [redacted] should certainly realize that customer service is important. Judging by additional online reviews, I am certainly not the only one to see these issues at the Alpine Resort. complaint author. The complaint author stated she was not happy with her accommodation. We offered an alternative accommodation but she did not accept the offer. The party that originally booked the cottage stayed in the cottage for the two nights reserved and paid for the two nights. We are disappointed that the complaint author was not happy with the cottage. We have a historic family business and work hard to provide a great experience for our customers. Additionally, the complaint author reported our business to the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
