I am rejecting this response because: The entire time I was getting set up for the hearing aids, I told Mr C[redacted] I did not want to pay anything for my hearing aids.  I knew I had money left on my insurance that I could use to get new hearing aids and I told him that is all I wanted to us.  As it turns out Blue Cross Blue Shield is telling me Mr C[redacted] is not even in the network.  Mr C[redacted] assured me I would not be having to come out of my pocket to pay for the hearing aids.  I assumed he called the insurance company to verify I had adequate insurance.  I have a bill that I am having to pay to wells fargo because I had it financed so Mr C[redacted]'s office could get their money right away.  I dont want to keep the hearing aids now because I was misled in that I am going to have a huge bill on my hands to pay back because Mr C[redacted]'s office is not in network.  Furthermore, I dont see how I would be treated fairly as far as my checkup, adjustments or any further exams that would be necessary at this point.  I would like to give these hearing aids back, get a refund and Mr C[redacted]'s office not hear from me any more. We provided the patient with a contract showing the amount of the hearing instruments and services provided. The payment amount is set by Wells Fargo so we have no control over that. I stated the amount that was on the sheet which showed 123 a month. We process the insurance once the patient has...

agreed to keep the hearing aids since there is a 30 day trial period. We did so but due to the Holidays the insurance company and mail took longer than expected. We don't promise a time period because we never know how long it may take. The insurance company and Mary both called together and the issue was handled. At this time I know of no issue with the patient or insurance. Each time the patient came in we called and checked with the insurance company to assist in the process but it was out of our hands at that point. Insurance told us that it took them a couple weeks to process and then a couple weeks to approve. The only time we were unable to help Mary is when the building was broken into and we could not access our records. Everything should be taken care of. Thank you, [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: The claim of this issue is not totally completed.  Mr C[redacted] and I did have a productive conversation and I am positive that it is going to end good. He was made aware of what I was going through.  I would like for this issue to remain open a little while longer until it is complete.

I set down with patient [redacted] today at 11:30am on Friday and talked over any issues that she may have had. At this time we have came to a understanding and all issues are resolved. We have verified that all insurance has been billed. We also have made sure that the relationship between us and the patient still exists and that both us parties are carrying through with the contract.  We strive to give every patient the best in hearing. That was never the issue but feel that we could have had better communication with the patient about how her insurance was going.  The patient can contact us as always about any issues she may have during office hours at [redacted].
