Review: I took my electric saw motor into Al's because a few wires came loose from the switch when I was trying to tighten it. I did not know where the wires plugged back into the switch correctly, so I took it to Al's to have them plugged back in. While looking at the switch they suggested I replace it with a new one that was $30 and a new capacitor for $20. I agreed. This should have been done under the minimum $90 per hour charge that they have. The total for the bill should have been $50 for parts and $90 to replace the switch. What I got charged for was $264. They also charged me for plugging the wires in as an extra. My complaint is once they accepted the replacement of the switch they had to take the same wires off and plug them back in changing the switch. This takes all of 15 minutes time. So I was charge double for the work. This is way out of line for any business to charge twice for the same thing.Desired Settlement: I believe I should be refunded $100 of the $264. The normal charge for changing the switch and capacitor would be around $150. Which I do not have a problem with.
