Review: Al’s Heating Service picked up my air-conditioning unit last September ** for winter storage and servicing. For the last month I have been trying to get the unit back. Their “answering service“ supposedly;relays messages, but No one calls back. I also paid Al’s heating Serviice $275 at the time the unit was picked up. I believe that I am a victim of a robbery and scam operation. The last time I spoke to the answer5ing service I told them I was going to file a police complaint. This did not produce a response. The police will not take action because they say I entered into a contract with the service providerDesired Settlement: Return of the unit. Failing that, I need advice concerning taken legal action against this company..

Review: I hired this heating co., he told me he would file papers with con edison, and it would be to get my gas as I changed from oil heat to gas, upon never recieving anything from con edison, I called and my papers were never filed. I found out this company is not a licensed plumber, and he never will file papers. I am now in a deep mess, I never got the job inspected by con ed, I could have my gas turned off, and I have a 98 yr old mom living with me. I also could be fined, I thought I hired a licensed plumber, he is a scam artist as I have looked now and he was on channel 7 news, how do these people stay in business. I now have to get a licensed plumber and get charged more money, I gave Al's heating over $8,000, he is a crook, and misleads his client to think he is going to file papers with con ed, he will not return any of my phone calls, and now I know why, how could this man stay in business? 2 seniors who have been taken for a ride.Desired Settlement: I now have to hire a lic. plumber for thousands of dollars, and they have to go over all the work, and then file papers, so far no one wants to do this as they will be liable for someones elses job and they are not that happy to do this. It is going to cost thousands, and I hope to get someone. I am in trouble for not having the job inspected to con ed, I was told by Al's heating co. he would file all the papers, he told me he was licensed. What a horror, my husband is not talking to me as I got this from a neighbors referral, and he gave me a decent price. Now my gas might be shut off, and I may have a penalty, and have to hire people to do what Al's heating was supp. to do.
