Al's Heating & Cooling Reviews (2)

After installing a [redacted] my home I contracted Al's Heating[redacted] to install a [redacted] Heat Pump to a 2nd floor addition. He furnished brochures on [redacted] Heat Pumps citing it was the best. Given my knowledge of the quality of [redacted] products I decided to go ahead. Improper plumbing was installed for the unit. I later found out wouldn't fit 'ANY" [redacted] Unit. [redacted] showed up with a diff brand system ([redacted]). I wouldn't accept him switching to an "unknown brand" he agreed to reorder a [redacted] unit. At this point I started to question if he was putting in a big enough system. I contacted [redacted] and gave them the specs for my addition both sf & R Values for Insulation. The rep informed me the system was too small. I contacted [redacted] and he said that's what the guy at the counter figured out my space needed. At that point given the improper plumbing installed and the "bait and switch" tactic with the product change, I told him I had lost faith in him and wanted to cancel the order with him and that I wanted my money back. He agreed. On several occasions in texts he said he would forward my money back as soon as it came back from the supplier he ordered the 2nd unit from. We texted numerous times and finally that date came on [redacted], he said he would send me the check but not till it cleared. I sent a number of texts to him but after that he never responded again and he refused to communicate with me though I tried a couple more times tow work things out with him. I have copies of texts on the phone from him telling me he would send me my money back. Please note. No permits were ever pulled for the plumbing or electrelectrical work and no inspections were ever done by the Building Inspector incl the lst floor heating sys that has no fire proofing on the rafters. Al's Heating, was paid in full ([redacted] for the lst flr heat/AC on[redacted] bal[redacted] on [redacted])he was paid [redacted] advance for the Mitsubishi Heat [redacted] for 2nd flr unit"Product_Or_Service: [redacted] HEAT PUMPOrder_Number: NONEAccount_Number: NONEDesired SettlementI want my money back that was forward to Mr. [redacted] (Al's Heating) for the 2ND floor unit, which is a total of [redacted] for the [redacted] Unit despite the fact that new drywall & insulation in the closet area & walls of the room on the 2nd floor had to be removed for the right plumbing installation. Walls had to be repatched and repainted due to the improper instal and improper placement of the plumbing for the second floor unit. Work is still required to put the lst floorIN FIRE CODE.
