Review: my insurance company used this agency to transport me to my doctor's appointment on March 13, 2014. I discovered that I had left my [redacted] cellphone in the driver's van and I called the company to find out if it was noticed. The representative told me that he would look and that I should call on the following business day. I called on or about 3/17 and was relieved to find out that they had found my cellphone. The manager, [redacted] told me that he had a person that would be transporting in [redacted] and that they would drop off my phone. I waited and was disturbed when it was not returned. I called the company to ask for the owner so that I could inform him of my plight and the importance of securing my phone; [redacted] stated that I should speak with him and that they would put it in the USP mail. I told him that I would be calling the police and he ([redacted]) said that I should do that and that I should not call his phone again. Meanwhile, I called my insurance company to notify them that I had been trying to secure my loss phone and asked if they had any suggestions as to what I should do. My insurance company did a conference call and again was told that the phone was put in the mail on 3/22/14. Today is 3/31/14 and I have not received my phone.Desired Settlement: I have been patient in waiting for my phone to be returned. Alstar admitted that they found my phone which has very important information inside. I believe that they should reimburse me the cost of my phone or replace it.
