I called Alsup with an A/C problem, they came out and fixed it and the cost was great! I expected to pay a lot more for their time and workmanshipI just want to thank them for their serviceI will call them again if anything comes my way

I have been a customer of Alsup & Alsup since I purchased my home in 2013 from [redacted] Homes. I was hesitant to write a review because I wanted to give them one last chance to deliver. Below is a summary of my experiences with this company.

1. A month or so after moving into my brand new home, the downstairs AC unit stopped working. My house was still under warranty so I contacted Alsup & Alsup. I was informed that a part of the unit was not plugged in during the installation process. Therefore, they drilled a hole in my garage wall and I was informed by Mr. Alsup that he would come back to cover the hole. This happened in 2013. Two years later, the large hole has not been repaired.

2. In 2013 Alsup & Alsup stopped by because my unit was making a weird noise. I was informed that he would install vibration pads shortly after. Two years later, they have not been installed.

3. May 2015 my downstairs unit went out. Alsup came by to check it out. I was informed that the coil needed to be replaced and was under warranty. He mentioned it also needed freon. The temperature downstairs was 84 degrees each day. I was informed that the coil would arrive in 2-3 days. Three weeks passed by and I had not heard from them after several attempts to reach them by phone. By the way, they never answer the phone when I call. The recording always picks up. However, I left a message threatening to file a complaint with the Revdex.com if he did not call me back within 24 hours. I received a call back within 24 hours. The AC was repaired the following week and I received a $150 bill. I was without air for the entire month of May.

4. I have been contacting Alsup & Alsup since July 2015. As I was changing my air filter, I noticed rust and water dripping in the unit. Mr. Alsup said if water is not sitting in the pan, it would be okay. I told him I was concerned that it would damage my house or cause mold if it was not checked out. He said he was booked that week. I asked if I could email pictures for them to look at. I obtained the correct email address from his wife and sent the pictures. After not receiving a response, I called numerous of times to follow up and as of November 5, 2015 I have not heard back from them. My upstairs AC is no longer working. I googled the problem and I think the coil needs to be replaced for my upstairs unit as well. Although it is cooler outside, the temperature is 80 degrees upstairs in my house which is where all bedrooms are located.

I left a message for them to return my call but I did not heard back today. This company has poor customer service. I reached out to them to see if I could go with Lee Company even if my units are still under warranty. No customer should have to deal with this. I also personally feel that the builder needs to find a more reliable and reputable company to install AC units going forward.

I have given them chance after chance to resolve the issue. Writing a negative review was my last option.
