Customer and year old daughter came into the salon for a wash and setStylist observed that daughter's
hair was dry and had breakageShe explained this to the Mom and daughter and told them she would only be able to wash, condition and put the daughter under the dryer with an additional conditionerBoth were ok with this decisionStylist also had it noted on the computer system that she discussed with the Mom and daughter that there was hair breakageBoth left satisfied and without any issues
Both came back to the salon days later to repeat the same servicesAgain both left satisfied and without any issues
Two days later, Mom called insisting that the stylist damaged her daughter's hair and wanted her money back for both services done two days prior. Manager explained to her that the stylist discussed with both of them that the daughter had dry hair and breakage prior to receiving any services, and that this was noted in their file on the computer
Mom became irate insisting that she get her money back for both of their hair servicesSalon management did not agree and denied the customer a refundIt should also be noted that Alta Villa Spa & Salon has been in business for years and has an impeccable reputationThis is the first complaint of this nature in 9 years of businessif there was any fault on the part of the salon, management would be happy to correct the error and refund their moneyHowever, in this case, management and stylist strongly feel that there was nothing damaging done to the daughter's hair and a refund should not be issued

Review: TOOK MY 12 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER IN TO GET HER HAIR DONE. I LET THE HAIRDRESSER KNOW THAT WE HAVE DRY HAIR TO USE MORE PRODUCT IN HER HAIR. SHE DIDN'T DO SO CONTINUED TO DO HER HAIR SAYING SHE HAS BEEN A HAIRDRESSER FOR YEARS AND SHE KNEW WHAT SHE WAS DOING. WENT HOME WITH MY DAUGHTER LATER ON THAT NIGHT TO HELP HER WRAP HER HAIR SHE HAS A BALD SPOT.SHE IS CRYING AND GETTING TEASED AT SCHOOL FROM THIS. PAT JUST TOLD ME HER HAIR WAS GROWING IN .BUT THAT WAS A LIE. I ONLY WANTED A REFUND FOR HER HAIR. MANAGEMENT REFUSED SAYING IT WAS MY FAULT THIS HAPPENED AND THE REFUSE TO REFUND ME.THEY STAND BEHIND HER WORK EVEN THOUGH MY 12 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER'S HAIR FELL OUT FROM PAT'S SERVICES. I WAS TOLD SHE DID'NT CHARGE ME FOR FULL SERVICES. I STILL PAID FOR FULL SERVICE $90.00 FOR BOTH ME AND MY DAUGHTER.Desired Settlement: I WOULD JUST LIKE MY REFUND . I DON'T WANT TO PAY FOR BAD SERVICE. I DON'T FEEL LIKE MANAGEMENT SHOULD YELL AT A CUSTOMER. I JUST WANT MY $90.00 REFUND THANK YOU.
