Alta Vista Pet Boarding & Grooming

Boarded my dog for one day. He came home limping due to the pads of his feet being severely torn/burned. They say they have no idea how this happened nor do they seem to genuinly care. The fact that the trained staff did not recognize this or do anything about it when I could clearly tell he was hurt baffles me. The owner seems more worried about his buissness and reviews than my pet. He has tried to blame this on me, stating that the quick walk to the car is what did this. My vetranarian has confirmed this is not so and was also baffled by the wounds. He did offer to cover the medical exam, but not the medications need at his facility. We declined due to previous misdiagnosis and poor care at this vet. I hate to be this person, but this is not ok and something needed to be said. I am not the first person to have unexplained occurrences happen at this place. Another dog came home with profound brusing on her sides after being in their care. No explaination was offered for this either. I ask people to be cautious when using this facility. They would rather cover it up than get down to the bottom of it.
