Altana Federal Credit Union

This credit union is not customer friendly. There is no customer service beyond banking hours, the service reps do not assist in any support function, and the internet banking is a joke. This institution is a farce and should not be allowed to even call itself a financial institution.

I have an auto loan through this credit union. When I moved out of state for school, I had to visit the Central Ave location in Billings, MT to inquire about my title. The Loan Rep I worked with was very rude, told me to shush when I was speaking to him and had no idea what I was asking. I asked to speak with someone who could help me, and the next person I spoke with was much better. She helped me right away, but I will never speak to the first Loan Rep again. I'm considering refinancing my loan to a different bank, purely from a customer service and ease of payment aspect.

Review: This company signed me up for identity theft service without my knowledge and billed me for it. The service was not even activated and monitoring what they authorized me paying for. I contacted the company told them how I felt it was not okay for them to sign me up for a service period. To be spending my money because they have access to it is against the law. The manager [redacted] gave the approval to half of the money they took. But when I went in to collect that and close my accounts he retracted his offer and said only if I was staying with the company would he return my money.Desired Settlement: I want all of my money back, it was wrong for them to assume and sign me up for an inactive service.
