Very BAD, the salesman misleads us with the information, the bank who loaned the money to install the panels Miss Handle our money, The total amount of the loan was supposedly handled to Alternative Solar, this company file for bankruptcy and our solar panels are STILL not being connected, the job was never completed, the Job was paid for . the GoodLeap Bank is demanding the monthly payment of the loan, I am in the process of hiring an attorney. 985-400-8989 email [email protected]

We signed a contract on our solar in May 2021 at that time lots of promises were made about timeframe of install and activation of panels. All lies. We were also told they would take care of all approvals from the city as well as HOA. Our panels were finally scheduled for install in September. After they were installed we were notified by the HOA that they hadn’t been approved. We contacted the company they said the HOA can’t deny solar. That isn’t true. Texas state law says if the company can show data of significant loss of production by the panels if placed on other sides of the roof BEFORE INSTALLATION they can force approval by the HOA. If panels are installed without approval you waive that right. My wife then had to appeal the decision and go before a panel with evidence of other homes in the neighborhood with similar panel placement. She got the decision overturned doing their job for them. Then during the installation they attempted to run a hideous piece of galvanized conduit across my roof on the front of my home. We had discussed with the sales person that all wires would go thru the attic upon agreeing to purchase. The install was halted as we were told they didn’t have the materials needed to run wires thru the attic. Several weeks later they returned to finish the install this was late September early October. At that point we only needed our inspection to get our panels running. As of mid December we were told we were waiting on the city inspector to schedule an inspection. Now we’re deep into January we decided to call the city and see what the hold up was. The city said they have permits filled but never called for the inspection. Another lie. So we asked if we could request an inspection ourselves they said yes. It will be 4 days because of the holiday coming up otherwise it’s usually next day. So we contacted the company and notified them of the upcoming inspection date. They responded saying that their master electrician had to be there and that date didn’t work with their schedule. We would have to reschedule. So here we are 8 months after purchasing our panels. They’re still not producing and we have made 3 payments while also paying an electric bill. We were told in the beginning we should have a couple of months of production before our first payment. Another lie. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ALTERNATIVE SOLAR TO ANYONE! If I could give negative stars I would

My experience with Alternative Solar has been very positive. The customer service was wonderful, they didn't lie like many companies about the tax credit. Never felt pressured. Kept up on communication, and continue to help maintain my system even after install. Great job. Would recommend, mainly because they also paid for a full year of my solar payments for every referral I bring to the company.
