a part to save money because of the age of the vehicle, which the customer approvedShe was also noti?ed that the car had a bad coolant leak from the radiator and the Customer authorized repairCar got test driven twice, and the problems were resolvedA few days later Adviser gets a call from the Customer about another rattleAn old heat shield rusted outstarted rattling and fell off the car which had nothing to do with the radiator repair or compressor bypassCustomer called on January 9, stating the car was leaking coolantThe Adviser had the Customer tow the car in assuring her if it was a radiator problem it would be covered under warrantyA certi?ed technician pressure checked the cooling system twice to ?nd no leaks at alll had him perform a third test with me present to still ?nd no leaksMy adviser called the customer to tell her the news and also to discuss thehood cable problemThe Customer was already aware of the cable problem and declined repairCustomer picked up the car only to call the next day to say the radiator was still leakingI invited the Customer back for a free re-test, and she refused and threaten to send guys to work rne over which was bellicoseThe customer asked for a refund which at that point I told her to ?nd a reputable shop and if they determine the radiator was bad to pay them to put a new one in and retum the radiator I installed in good condition, and she would be refunded her moneyShe also was advised if her car continues to use up coolant she-might have head gasket issue that is common in older Honda CivicsWe pride ourselves on customer satisfaction.Thanks for your time, *** * ***PH:***
March 19, 2015RE:ID [redacted] Complaint against Alternative Solution Car Care, Ltd.This is In response to a complaint sent to the Revdex.com by [redacted] regarding her Honda Civic not being repaired correctly and still has a problem with a coolant leak.We advised the customer to take it to a reputable shop and if they determined there was a radiator problem still, we would consider a refund.The. customer is asking for a refund for the tow of the Honda which is $110.00 and $46.23 for the other mechanic to ?it the clamp on the radiator.We did receive from the Revdex.com a copy of the repairs and we will issue a check to [redacted] in the amount of $156.23.We want all our-customers to be satis?ed with the work done on their cars. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I had the Honda civic looked over by another mechanic. The mechanic determined the lower hose of the radiator was dripping coolant and tightened the clamp. The hood release was also fixed with out a costly repair. Alternative Soluntion Car Care Failed to look under the Honda Civic in both of the car repairs in October and January. I would not take the Honda back to Alternative Car Care because the the owner was not listening to my complaints that the Honda Civic was leaking coolant from the bottom of the radiator and adding on costly repairs to the bill. THe Head Casket burns coolant it does not leak from the bottom of the radiator. I want a refund for the tow of the Honda which as $110.00 and $46.23 for the other mechanic to fixed the clamp on the radiator. This comes to a total of $156.23.
