for an account from an individual with the same last name and address (or former address) as the complainant. As per normal procedure, Alternatives FCU queried [redacted]. [redacted] matched the last name, street number, street name, city, and state and returned a report on an individual with a different first name-the complainant. This discrepancy was not noticed at the time. When the complainant called to question the inquiry, Alternatives FCU staff were happy to follow up. However complainant acted quite insulted when Alternatives FCU requested some details in order to quickly investigate and correct the situation. Ultimately Alternatives FCU was able to locate the report in question and take steps to delete the inquiry from the report of the complainant. Alternatives FCU regrets the inconvenience to the complainant, but denies any negative treatment toward the complainant.
