Renting from Altisource was a nightmare within a nightmare it was absolutely the worst experience that I have EVER had rentingI thought the concept of everything being online was great but I was horribly wrong they had us come and walk through the property with a real estate agent and write everything that was wrong with the property promising that everything would be fixed before our move in date when it was time to move in everything was still the same way from the original inspection nothing was fixed yet and still they were quick to take my money the customer service was horrible when you would call to complain they would promise to email you or call you back within hours and every time you talk to someone on the phone it was like talking to some third world country operation you could never understand what they were saying and they would always say they would let their "senior management" take care of the issue why I'm I talking to you if you can't help me fix my problem!? When there were repairs that needed to made they would send some 3rd rate handy man that "knew" how to do everything but specialized in NOTHING so guess what I would have to call them back and have them send a professional out that knew what they were doingThey made me pay first months rent a security deposit and last months rent which I'm fine with except for the fact when it was time for me to move out they kept hounding me for last months rent and tacking on late fees to my account even though I paid last months rent when I moved into the property after numerous phone calls and talking to a million different people every single day for a month they finally fixed it but then it's the matter of the security deposit it was very convenient that my rent wast a month and when we moved out the house was in better condition then when we moved in and they sent me a bills in which they charged me for trash removal (which no trash was left in the house) and then for repairs and cleaning when the house was cleaned very well and the person doing the final inspection commented on how clean the house was and we should have no problem getting our security deposit back but nope they split it up down to the cents to equal I would not recommend renting from this company to anyone you will have more success renting a horse stable and getting better customer service then from Altisource

Worst rental agency ever They have no idea what they are doing they tell you a property is available they'll send you a lease agreement to sign and then cancel it because they found somebody ahead of you somehowThis has happened with every home that I transfer my rental application toInitially there's no applicants ahead of me then all of the sudden they call back and say oh we are sorry there is an applicant ahead of you Avoid AltiSource at all costs

I moved in a week ago , and it was my worst moving out experience that I have ever had until now I don't have key`s for gates, pool, gym nor mailbox , no hot water , sinks are all leaking ,there is no communication between Hoa and Altisource , both send me back and forth for the missing stuff , really really terrible, not professional at all

I went online after an agent called me and told me the house was still availableI put in an application told it would take up to business daysA week later I was told the house was reserved for someone elseI was never told I was denied or refunded my dollar application feeI even emailed the agent about it but was never responded to at allIgnoredI will not do an application after application wasting my money only for someone else to grab itI don't know if my application was even looked at

This company is absolutely horribleI do NOT recommend ANYONE to invest time and or money into any home that is on the market by this companyMy fiancé and I were under contract with the house of our dreams for monthsAs we paid for repairs, inspections and surveys our closing dates continued to be pushed back due to "title issues." We waited so long that we offered to fix the title issues ourselvesThe employee's of Altisource could barely speak English which is sad because they are based out of the USAWe could never get a straight answer out of any employee including the so called "supervisor." Altisource is a completely unprofessional company periodI can not believe a company can be so inconsiderate and disrespectfulI advise everyone to STAY AWAY from these peopleThe whole thing is a sick scam, ending in loss of money and time

How this company received an A+ Revdex.com rating with 100% negative reviews is beyond my wildest imaginationI have not even moved into my home yet and I have signed a lease and am already experiencing a plethora of issuesFirst and foremost, I received a job offer cross-country and unfortunately, the only house I could affordably come across that allowed pets in the nick of time was an Altisource RentalI applied for the house, and the e-mail in response to my application stated I would hear an answer in hoursI waited and waited, heard nothing within the hours (business days) and thus called, they assured me they were working on my applicationTwo days later, still had heard nothing and when I called again, they assured they'd have a decision by the end of the dayStill, nothingOnce I finally got approved and obtained my lease agreement, an eerie feeling came through me, yet I still read over and signed the lease because I really was looking forward to the opportunities of my new careerI promptly paid the deposit, pet fee, as well as the prorated rent for the monthFirstly, I stated I would pay prorated rent from a certain date, but told customer service due to my current job and the nature of my work, I would not be available for a moinspection until a certain day afterThe customer service agent said she would take care of it, and coincidently did not because I received a call days before that scheduled day that they were ready to do the moinspection, while I was still cross country working, that again denotes subpar organizationThe previous month before my move in, I was aware that I would need to transfer all utilities to my name and provide account numbers as proof, I was able to do that long-distance for electric, but not for water (have to transfer in person) or gas because they never answered my question on if this property even had gasI sent them my electric account numbers and my renter's insurance policy via their customer service e-mail TWICE and explained they would not be able to transfer water until I physically came to the City Utility Building and provided the deposit, my ID and lease agreementAlso, I had again inquired if there was gas on this property or not, I was told I would receive a call regarding this, and never didCustomer service called me informing me that I needed to get these documents in and have gas transferred, yet I had already sent the documents TWICE with my renter's insurance information includedI explained that I will not transfer gas until I looked myself to see if gas is even necessary in this home because they could not properly respond to me if it was or wasn't! During this call they also informed me that because I was moving in within days of the end of the month, I also owed rent for the next month before move-inI reviewed my lease and application materials and nowhere did it state this mapolicyThey told me they'd have a supervisor review the lease and application materials and get back to me about thisNo one got back to me, and why? BECAUSE THERE WASN'T A POLICY REGARDING THIS, it was purely made up! I told them they would receive payment on the 1st of the month when it was due and they told me they'd have to talk to their coordinator regarding thisThe next day I got a call from customer service, again, regarding the same matters and this representative had no idea I had talked to someone already (more disorganization, why isn't this stuff documented???), thus I had to take time out of my busy day to re explain the mattersThey continue to be disorganized, and told me they would call me today regarding the "day policy" as well as the utilities, not one phone call and I leave tonight to move across country into this homeI'm hoping my experience renting from them will be pleasant, as I got myself into a month lease out of desperation for a homeIf it is not, good thing is, I'm a great and organized documenter and will have no issue bringing these issues to courtI surely hope they will get it together and become a better business to their clients, as we are their only means of making money!

I am extremely dissatisfied with the whole renting processIt was the first time I ever felt so miserable while renting a houseI felt like no one care about me - I never even got to talk to a person that is willing to help me know more about the house I am about to rent! Trying to call your support phone line I wasted so much time listening to hold music I can't even rememberI had some specific conditions which I wanted to notify about, but there never was a person I could apply to! All I had was a bunch of soulless automatic emailsThen after I actually had to speak to somebody, all I got was a bunch of promises that were never keptSo when my modate came I received no call, no keys, nothing - and I payed the rent in full for two months! Only after wasting another hour of my life trying to reach the support agent, I found out that broker wasn't even told to give me the keysI spent additional nights at the hotel ($each) when I already should have slept in the house I payed money for! One more thingI noticed a lot of wasp nests on the house and notified the leasing agent that I want them to be removed before my move-inBut it seems that in this company no one values the customer's opinion, because even after my moshould have happened, the wasps are still there! I understand that Altisource maybe is a large company, but as a customer I prefer to be treated like a person, and not like a pest

I moved into This home on August 1st
We were promised the issues that were wrong would be fixed prior to move in
Nothing was done for move in day
Pool was swampy, frogs and tadpoles everywherePool screen had holes everywhere
As we moved in we started noticing other issues, plumbing issues, AC issussEtc
We had multiple "contractors" out to fix the problems, in a NOT so timely manner
1.)There was a sewer back up in my house, they were unable to get anyone out until the next evening, they put us in a "hotel" for the night, well it was a motel-I found bed bugsWe left immediatelyThe first company they sent out said that we had roots in our pipes, so altisource sent out another company who said there were no roots just that our pipes had scales in them and we needed to schedule another appointment to have that taken care of Altisource has yet to have anyone else out to take care of it, even though our second bathroom still has dirt like stuff coming out of it
3) our pool pump has been broken for over a month now, as well as the bottom of the pool is chipping off, everywhere -
Myself or the employees of altisource have been unable to contact the property manager for further details for when this job will be done
To top it off, my refrigerator stopped working on Monday the 19tg and due to altisources lack of concern for approving and jobs in a timely manner, I have to wait until the next Monday to get another one
Unacceptable, this home has caused me nothing but stress and concern for the safety and health of my familyI have yet to enjoy the home I pay 1,for!
I'm so tired of being told that someone will call me back in an hour, no one calls you, not one person has any care about us and the home we reside in
All I asked for was for communication and to know when things will be getting done I have contacted a lawyer at this point I wonder if they will stop dragging their feet once they hear from him

Why this company has an A+ on here is perplexingThis company have awful customer service and doesn't follow through on any requestI would have done better renting from an alien than dealing with Altisource

I've been renting for almost a yearI've been having the worst experience everI thought since it's a company everything would be fine but I thought wrongI did a walk though told the realtor what was wrong or what needed to be fixedNothing happenedA few months later my light bill was going higher and higher I called fpl out to check they came out the front door and the garage door wasn't completelyThey sent a repair person and they did a stupid patch up job with tape a week later the door is back to being open again I went ahead and fixed it because it made no sense what they didThen my sink in the kitchen still not working from I moved in that was one of the thing on my list to fix, and the sinks upstairs was on my list alsoNothing got fixed they sent a repair person that can't keep time I kept taking off work and the guy don't show upWhen he finally showed up he took everything off then I had no use of my kitchen sink for a few days I could use the other sink in the upstairs bathroom, then he came back again hours later then the appointment time and still the sink wasn't fixed, he told he altisource didn't want to pay him for what needed to fix the sink in the kitchen and I'm responsible for fixing the kitchen sink, I've called email and send repair request no answer as to why I need to repair something that was never working before I moved inStill no answer I waited for a manager they always say they going to call back and NEVER CALL BACKTHEY WILL NEVER CALL BACK IT'S ALL LIESmy house still smellme and my kids are staying in a hotel and still can't get anyone to call back or fix my sinkCome Monday I will be filing court papers because I've recorded every conversation and printed out all my service request and the text and phone calls from the repair personStill they will call me back and I'm still waitingThe worst ever

We have rented a property from Altisource for almost a year nowIt has been by far the worst experience we've ever hadAfter a month or so of renting the property our toilet in our children's bathroom over flowed flooding the bathroom and flowing out into our hallwayWe immediately notified Altisource but because of a disconnect in there customer service department we were forced to walk around in wet carpet soiled by sewage water for about a monthAs I sit here typing this email we have a leaky faucet in our kitchen and no hot waterWe have been forced to boil water on our stove to bath ourselves and our childrenA request was put in days ago and since that time Altisource had refused to make repairsEach time I call there customer service department I get someone that acts as if they know nothing about my request and I get put on hold for an hour in hopes that I will hang upThey also like to place blame on the vendor stating that they are waiting on an estimateWhen you call the vendor they say they've already sent the estimateDo yourself a favorDon't rent from them

I have moved coast to coast with less issues then I've experienced with Atlisource Rentsls. You never speak to the same person twice. They are disorganized make moving extremely stressful. Moving itself is stressful but they make sure that they take your stress level to another ten degrees. I am moving into one of their properties and thankfully I only signed a one year lease. I would tell anyone looking to rent through them to Run! They are not flexible, their staff is not able to answer questions or make decisions and do not have access to your rental property information but yet won't connect you to someone who does. You feel like your getting the run around. They inform you they received needed documents only to turn around and call you to say they did not. All and all my experience with them has been very bad! Poor execution for a leasing company. I just pray that I won't have any issues after I move in.

Basically I have had the same experience as everyone else in regards to the application process. Sending documentation multiple times, never talking to the same person. Getting different answers every time you call and you have to keep calling to make sure every thing is good. Call one day , everything is call. Call back the same day, get a different answer. It's madness. The only positive comment I can make is that 95% of the reps are pleasantly and don't give any attitude. I'm desperate for a property because relocating for work. Hopefully this house works out because I will diligently be documenting everything o. Preparation for any type of additional foolishness that I may run o to during the term of the lease. Pray for me!

Worst experience I have ever had with a company. There were numerous issues that were promised to be fixed before move in and over 2 years later things weren't fixed and the ones that were it took months to get fixed because of their terrible management system that even the contractors complained about. Also they decided to change my rental insurance policy that I bought through a company they recommended. The company they recommended didn't even offer the proper amount of coverage. It's shocking to me that this company is still operational.

A week later I was told the house was reserved for someone else. I was never told I was denied or refunded my 35 dollar application fee. I even emailed the agent about it but was never responded to at all. Ignored. I will not do an application after application wasting my money only for someone else to grab it. I don't know if my application was even looked at.

All I can say is DONT DO IT. My fiancé and I found a great house where my daughter would be going to the same school through Altisource. We thought everything being online would be more convenient. Unfortunately when we applied we got denied because I had a "eviction" which I ended up trying to dispute. But because we had a roommate we decided that he would be put on the lease with my fiancé instead of me. Which they said was ok. We applied and paid the application fees again on a Saturday. They told us because it was the weekend that they would let us know Monday if we needed anymore documents. Come Monday we called... Maybe 10 times to make sure they had everything. Each time we had gotten a different answer. One person from alto source would say no ... They didn't have ANYTHING and the next would say that they did. We resent every document needed 5 times ( and I have the confirmation email and fax sheets to prove it). Finally we called twice in a row so and got the same answer. So we thought it was done. Then Wednesday comes along and two different people call us saying they needed more info!!!!!! We still really wanted the house so we sent it all in AGAIN!!!! Then yesterday we called and guess what... They say were approved but someone got approved before us! When we actually applied before them! The other prospects hadn't paid yet so we ended up calling today because we were next in line. The other prospects paid last minute. When we demanded a refund they refused. Even tho we applied before them!! They said we should've known that others would apply after us. What does that even mean?? This was the worst experience of my life. Please save yourself and your family the hassle and go through someone else!
