[redacted] told me that he is fully satisfied and is happy with Altium's service, and he ask that [redacted] at the Revdex.com call [redacted] at [redacted] so he can confirm his full satisfaction with Altium Group and the fact that he did receive his refund from Altium Group in a timely manner.

Review: In mid-April I paid the entire purchase price, not just a deposit, for an Altium-brokered secondary market annuity (SMA) that was to close by June 15, with a purchase price of $33K . I followed up with emails on both April 23 and May 23, and it in each instance was told everything was proceeding on schedule. On June 12 I emailed Altium’s representative to find out if the deal was set to close on schedule. He responded back that the deal was still on schedule, but it would take another couple of weeks for the issuers to sign off on everything, and that when Altium received the court order and carrier acknowledgement they would provide me the closing book. When I didn’t hear anything more, on July 6 I followed up to find out what the status was. This time the response was that the seller had become unresponsive and the deal was cancelled. This is not necessarily Altium’s fault, but perhaps they should vet their clients better. They also asked me whether I wanted to switch to another deal or have my deposit returned. I told them I wanted my deposit (the entire purchase price of $33K) returned. It is now four days later and I have not been mailed anything nor had the money wired back. I just heard back from them on another email, and the story now is that “deposit return is processing. It will be sent out sometime next week.” Altium’s customer service is very poor for those on the buy side. They do not keep you in the loop unless you are hounding them, and they are slow to return client’s money, even though they require wire transfers when the money is flowing in their direction. I am now concerned about the financial viability of this organization and wonder if I will ever get my money back.Desired Settlement: Return of MY money - immediately. They acknowledge they are holding customer funds, and a significant amount at that!
