This is in response to the above referenced complaint submitted to Alton Memorial Convenience Care dated 4/1/ In response to the complaint, the attending health care provider documented administration of the test and subsequent results for the date of service in question, 11/9/The following is a brief overview of the contact history between the patient and BJC Medical GroupOn 11/23/2015, patient contacted BJC Medical Group indicating the test was refused due to no insurance and BJC Medical Group sent a request to the place of service to review chargesBJC Medical Group contacted the patient on 1/6/to advise tests and results were documented, and required to properly diagnose conditions she presented withOn 3/11/2016, patient contacted BJC Medical Group again to inform she did not have the test administered and would not pay for the charges associated; per the previous review charges were deemed to accurately represent services completed on date of service 11/9/Due to non-payment of the balance and failure to establish a payment plan, the patient was systematically referred to a collection agency on 3/16/ On 11/13/2015, BJC Medical Group provided an "uninsured credit" on the account as the patient indicated health insurance was not availableThe amount credited is in excess of the amount the patient is requesting to be adjusted from the account
