This is a copy of the parts that were purchased to bring the vehicle up to what it needed to be to make it right to saleI was quoted at for laborAll I want Lisa to do is take that total for parts and labor off my total cost of the vehicle. And to be honest, "bad blood" was created long before the video was posted. I was nothing but decent with Lisa; even after the brakes went out after only driving milesI was respectful and still decent until she started being nasty because she knew she sold me a vehicle that was UNSAFEEspecially, know I have "very small children "

To whom it concerns. 05/08/2017I’m responding to this matter of a letter I received from u today in the mail, if u need anymoreinformation from this letter please respnd to me or call me at [redacted].Ref#[redacted]I’m writing this letter because on may l~ 2017 angel [redacted] was to...

drop her2002 Buick rendvous off to Altoona auto center to have looked at she has been saying there hasa noise in the rear when u make only a right turn and it only did it sometimes we have changedfilter and fluid in the rear she said it was okay for a few days and it does it off and on again so weschedule her to bring it in so te mach could look at it and drive it around to see if we could finethe problem on the car and she said u but the brakes on it seems like u are driving on ice I hasangel bring the car to me at Altoona auto inc to drive it with her in it. on 04/28/2017 me andher and her small little daughter she had with her and went for a ride and I hit the brakes hardand no then and we made a right turn when we first went out and I thought I heard a little noiseso we keep driving made all kinds of right turns left turn brake the car hard an no then she saidwell it don’t always make the noise I explain to her I c[redacted]ot fix something I don’t hear that wewould need the car to be able to see what she is talking about and drive it and hope that it doesit for use and she was fine and was okay with that, and said she under stood that we need tohear it and try to figure this out for her. So on Monday may 1st she brought her wifely car out tobe looked at in are garage at Altoona auto center that we did some repairs on back in Aprilaround the 18th 2017. we did a power steering pump and rear brake line about Sft of it that wasrusted and holes in. we called and left the customer angel now what it was going to cost andhow much the repairs will be she said okay to do that because she don’t have the money nowbut will work for it and pick the car up when she gets all the money for the repair bill I said that’sfine, So she brings the car back on april first and said the lines we fixed on the car was leakingand hanging down on the car so I said that’s fine we will look at it and see the problem and thatwas not the problem the car had a whole new problem under the hood from the master cycle tothe front caliper. So I called angel and she was not happy she said we didn’t fix her car wescrewed her and on and on I tried to explain to her that we did not fix the brake lines under herhood we did the lines in the back of her car that was replaced and fixed she still thinks we didher wrong and, she said how much I told her the total to do the master cycle to the caipler andshe said fixed it so I did and she then was still not happy. she called back that day about 3 hpurslater ask if we fixed her car and we said we sure did she I ask her why she said just ask I said isthere a problem she said no never mine. We called her back later that day and left her now thecar was done she could pick up she never. She said she would have to fine a ride. So the daywent by and she never came to get car tell 05/03/2017. So she mean time in the week she put athing on face book about Altoona auto charging her to fix her brake lines on her and chargingher 500.00 but not saying she had a power steering pump done also so she came on wed may3rd around the time of 1130 1200 to pick her 2001 Pontiac grand prix withvin#1g2wp12k71f1g1~35 the mach told herto hang on that he would call me because he wasnot sure where the keys was at that point I was out getting parts and was on my way back tothe shop when he called and said she was there I said let her know I would be right there andshe was fine with that sol got to the shop went in the office and as her if I can help her she saidim here to get my car and a copy of a receipt from the last job we did to her car at that point Isaid I do not have a copy with me and I’m very busy and I would have to look for it. I said can Iplease send it to u or u come back now tomorrow she starting yelling and saying bad words andthere was her little daughter and a women that we found out later on in the night it was hermother, I never took her keys out of the building what so ever have no idea were she came upwith that they were on her desk and we have video camera that’s we can prove this matter to uor who we need to her keys was in the building at all times. So at this point I had no idea shewas video me and a worker of mine and voice videoing use also so I got her keys and her bill andwalked to the window in the customer waiting room to get her money and keys to her and giveher a receipt and still at that point did not know they were voice videoing and also videoing meat that time, said to her thanks for putting stuff on face book about that and slandering arebusiness I really appreciate that then she starting her mouth and stuff about all we are no goodand all this u can listen to it on video and voice video. That the Allegheny police department hasa company of this because it was out n face book media. So she still was running her mouthabout a receipt I did give her the day she pick the other car up I just seat in my office chair anddid work then they finally left. Then later on in that day I happen to get on my face book and seea live video and video with voice blaster on face book and stuff under a few of her friends andfamily members name and comments that was left. I have copies of everything that was placedon face book and so does the police at Allegheny township Mr. Reeder. .so on 05/04/2017angel & her wife as she Calles her when she comes to are lot to talk pulled in at Altoona autocenter and one of the works said here come angel and her wifely what do they went so wewent in the office ask her what she needed and she said I went my receipt from the work on thecar the first time I said I do not have it here at the moment I will mail it to u and u have receivedone already when u pick the car up the first time at that point she started getting violatescreaming saying bad words and stuff and slamming her fist and stuff on the counter I ask her toleave and she said I’m not leaving and still screaming and saying stuff I walked over and ask herto leave and she said I do not have to leave I said please leave our I will call the police she saidcall the f police I could care less so I did and she went in the parking lot screaming and sayingbad words and threat me and all that stuff and the Allegheny police came and talked to her andangel and told them they must leave. Aand they wanted to talk to the cop about the stuff thatwas put on facebook and he told them that was being handle a different way I will be pressingcharges on both the mother and angel and who else was putting this live on face book.Thank you Lisa [redacted]Altoona auto inc

In response to the response from Altoona Auto, I do not accept the response and believe her response to be false in most places. I do ask that you pull the video that Lisa says you can have, I believe that if you pull the video you will find that we were polite up until the point that we went into her shop and she ignorantly came at me with accusing me of slandering her on FB. the post that was made on facebook, was simply asking if anybody else has ever dealt with them and what their opinion on the shop was, in which numerous people replied and said that they had bad experiences with the business. I had dropped the grandprix back off to lisa the day of may 1, at which time she informed me the guy who did the original brake job was no longer with them and that she couldnt speak for the work he did. of course I was furious but let them finish the job anyways and then I had posted to fb to get other peoples thoughts. after seeing so many people that had bad experiences with them, I decided not to take my vehicle back there and to take it to a shop who was going to do the work right - after making numerous complaints the work still wasnt done; even after inspecting it... they didnt do anything about the completely rusted out brakes and rotors or the bald front tires or the wheel bearing that I had told them I thought was the problem since the beginning. on the nite of may 1, I was contacted by cell phone by one of Lisas employees who informed me that she was aware of the facebook post and she was livid and had planned to confront me when I came to get the car. on may 2, they called me and told me the car was ready and I had gotten called into work and did not make it in to pick up the car, however the next morning I went in to get the car and her employee wouldnt give me any info other then he needed to call her when we got there. Lisa then came directly at me and the first thing she said was "thanks for that post, we really appreciate you slandering us" in a very ignorant and sarcastic way; if you pull the video from the shop.. in which it isnt posted that they are voice recording me either... since, shes making a big deal of that, in pennsylvania its legal to video record but not voice record unless theres no expectation of privacy. which means in the same case, I would not have violated her rights either.. any ways; if you pull the video you will see that Lisa is the one who began the confrontation that took place. in the statement, she claims my daughter was with me at the shop... when in fact my 5 year old daughter was at school.. I had my 12 week old son with me also seen in the video. I can not say what happened when my wife went in there, I was not inside at the time.. all I know is cops were called but they didnt feel anything other then not leaving was what was wrong. in the video she is seen asking me to come back for the receipt or she could mail it, she claims she didnt have time to give me the receipt.. however, later that nite the same employee who warned me of her confronting me... called me again and met me off site with the receipt that lisa had filed away the day after I asked for it but then later crinkled up and threw in the trash can, so now I do have a copy of the receipt. the day lisa drove my car around with my 5 year old in the back seat, she pumped the brakes numerous times before starting the car, which is why she couldnt feel it. she slammed the brakes on a few times very hard and yes, made a few turns. after reliable looking over my vehicle they said the brake issue was coming from a sensor in the wheel bearing and the noise in the back was completely rusted brakes and rotors which should have been found during an inspection of a vehicle that should have never passed. I am including the copy of the Facebook post because lisa claims I slandered her; when slander is considered as making FALSE statements to hurt someones reputation.. when all I did was ask for opinions. lisa also said I claimed I paid over 500 for brakes and never mentioned power steering which is also false, as you will see in the post. and I will ask that lisa send in her video with VOICE recording so it can be PROVEN that it wasnt my "mouth" and me "saying bad words" to her that started the confrontation, that it was in fact.. LISA who planned a confrontation but then got upset when I spoke up to her. I also have filed with the district justice; as recommended by allegheny police department and have been in contact with [redacted], lawyer for representation and also the district attorney to learn about the expectation of privacy and my rights, so I guess ill see you in court; since you cant do whats right

To whom this concern, Altoona auto was wheeling to fix her car and look at it but she said she wantedto take it somewhere else so I feel that was her choice and she decided to do that and I feel Altoonaauto should not have to make it right to give her money back at all. Also she was very nasty one day andnice the other day. So if there is anything else u need please feel free to contact us thank u, andAltoona auto sold her a safe car, Like I said she slander Altoona auto and charges are being filed andwith the video also charges are being filed.

Review: The business has had my vehicle in their garage for 3 weeks. Every time I try contacting her she always says, "I will call when it's done." I can never get an explanation unless I push the issue. Every time I call there is something else the wrong with the vehicle. Ever since I got the vehicle in October 2015 it has been in the garage 3 times. Replaced bearing after bearing. Then the axle and now whatever else is the problem. I asked the owner if she would buy it back. We paid a little over $7000 and she would only give me back the pay off value which was $2608.01. They aren't calling me back in regards of letting me know what's wrong or what they are putting on the vehicle which I believe they are supposed to. She didn't tell me until 2 weeks in the garage that I could have a lease car. I called the other day to ask about one and she told me that they were all signed out. They keep telling me the parts will be in and they never are. Finally the last time she said the part came in but it was the wrong one so they had to re-order. Today the right part is suppose to be in so we will see if it still gets fixed this week or not. I'm just getting tired of waiting and hearing the same thing for 3 weeks now. Something needs done and their service is very poor. I believe overall they don't know what is the wrong and she should have gave me a better buy back price. They knew something was the wrong with the vehicle when my husband and I purchased the vehicle. I barely have been able to drive it or put miles on it because there is constantly something the wrong with it.Desired Settlement: To finish the vehicle in a timely matter so I don't have to keep waiting because I'm making a payment this month and haven't drove it in almost a month. Also to think about giving me a better buy back price because I'm sure the vehicle is just going to be in and out of the garage constantly by the looks of it. They need to have better timely service and quit giving excuses about parts and everything else.

Response:

On 05/31/2016, I received a letter from you, the Revdex.com, referencing the above complaint. Our response is as follows:On or about October 12, 2015, Mrs. [redacted] purchased a used vehicle with over 100,000 miles on it. At the time of purchase, it was explained to Mrs. [redacted] that this was a used vehicle with a 1-year 15,000 mile Power Train Warranty with a $100.00 deductible.Sometime on or around February 2015, Mrs. [redacted] brought her vehicle in for repairs, stating it was making a noise in the front end. We diagnosed the problem to be a wheel bearing and contacted the warranty company for an authorization number, allowing us to proceed with the repairs. Upon receiving an authorization number, we replace the wheel bearing and returned the vehicle to Mrs. [redacted]. We did not charge her the $100.00 deductible for the work we did.On or about May 20, 2106 Mrs. [redacted] brought her vehicle back for additional repairs, stating it was making noises and had a vibration while driving. The technician working on the vehicle diagnosed the problem and ordered the appropriate parts. The parts took 4-5 days to arrive; however, they were the wrong parts and had to be sent back. After an additional 4-5 days, the correct parts arrived and the appropriate repairs were made. Mrs. [redacted] was informed that the wrong parts had been sent and it would be an additional 5-7 days before her vehicle would be ready.Upon taking the vehicle for a test drive, the technician noticed a rubbing sound from the undercarriage and upon inspection determined the carrier bearing was bad and needed to be replaced; however, the carrier bearing was part of the drive shaft assembly and could not be replace by itself. Mrs. [redacted] was contacted and informed of the additional repairs. Once the new drive shaft assembly was received it was installed and Mrs. [redacted] was contacted and informed her vehicle was finished and ready for pickup.Mrs. [redacted] was kept informed throughout the repair process; however, she failed to understand that receiving incorrect parts is beyond our control and causes a delay in the repair process. Also, the second problem (the carrier bearing) did not manifest itself until the first problem had been resolved. In summary, Mrs. [redacted] purchased a 10 year old vehicle with over 100,000 miles on it. As with any used vehicle, parts are bound to fail and will need to be replaced, in Mrs. [redacted]'s case, her vehicle was repaired and returned to her as quickly as possible in a professional workmanship like manor, keeping her informed throughout the repair process. If you have any questions or need any additional information, Please contact me at ###-###-####.Regards, Lisa M[redacted]General Manager
