I am writing on behalf of Altria Group, Inc(“Altria”) in response to your March 9, letter to Altria Group Incregarding [redacted] , [redacted] located in [redacted] *** [redacted] complaints indicated that she did not received promotional payment and could not reach her local Altria Group Distribution Company (“AGDC”) sales representative to resolve the issue.We have successfully contacted [redacted] and we wanted to inform you that [redacted] and AGDC were able to agree on a resolution of the payment concerns raised [redacted] has indicated to us that she is satisfied with the response and will contact you to advise you that the issue has been resolved.Accordingly, we consider this matter closed.Thank you for bring these concerns to our attentionIf you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.Sincerely, [redacted]

What can I say, they absolutely ruined our reno and cause us so much stress. The money we spent on both our bathrooms should have given us gorgeous counters but we ended up with so many [redacted] and a [redacted] installation on top of a horrible cover-up job. [redacted]. I wish I'd read reviews before going here, what a disaster. Too many other great companies in this city. Never again!

Review: on 10/15/2013 contacted about stale carton of cigarettes,was surprised rep said refund would be sent in 3-4 weeks.again contacted 12/13/2013,was told needed to do age verification before check could be sent,did so.again contacted 1/5/2014,was told check in mail,would receive no later than 1/13. no check,called,rep advised I had received check on 1/10 and they won't send another.called in today,1/14,spoke to supervisor,who advised they had all records of previous calls except one from rep,who I feel accused me of theft.was told they would follow up but had no access to information about check,now been 3 months since initial contact,at this point could care less about check as being given inaccurate information from the beginning and told I had received check.the rep not leaving a note would indicate a serious problem with service,sorry ,she had also transferred me to her supervisor,after 10 minutes on hold went to a voice mail,left message ,no return.as statedmnow not about check,but rather accusations by rep,who not surprisingly left no record of call and no follow up by her suppose supervisor,thank you,I needed a rant,appreciate your helpDesired Settlement: refund and apology

I spoke with [redacted] from the business and it was a system problem and they apologize and she gave the consumers information to the call center manager and he will be in touch with the consumer and a check will be processed on Thursday.

Review: I was sent an email on 07/16/2013,RSVP Now for a Trip to the [redacted]. you and a friend are invited to the [redacted], every year we invite a select group of smokers to our place in Montana. and your one of them. Everythings paid for and there is no catch. its just our way of saying thanks. RSVP now. for you and a friend 21 years of age or older or call 1[redacted]. I called them and spoke to a representative and ask them if this was a scam and she assured it was not, she asked me if was a smoker and if I was over the age of 21 and I replied yes. she then ask me for my name, I told her and she was unable to find in system, but then she found my information and proceeded to tell me my address. she put me on hold then returned and asked me to read the entire email, so I read it to her, she then put me on hold again, come back and said congratulations, asked me the guest code, which was [redacted]. she proceeded to tell me that I will be receiving a packet in the mail, to fill it out and return it. I told okay. on 7/17/2013 I received a call from [redacted], she said she was from the [redacted] company and told me that the email in which I received was not intended for me but for my daughter. I told her that it was wrong and that it did not have her name on it but that it was sent to my email address, to me. I have called numerous times and told them how wrong it was to tell me congratulations and what I would be receiving in the mail. They should have told me that information when I called to confirm and gave them the guest code. My daughter even called them and told them that if it was her that won the trip then she most likely could not go because of her being pregnant and told them to give to me. They said she gave my email address when she signed up but I was not aware of that. I have been completely devastated by this company as I thought and they even confirmed that I won this trip. This is wrong and I should not have been done this way by this company.Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation)

I just want the free trip in which was sent to me, my email address and confirmed by the representive when I called them to reserve the trip

This is in response to your letter dated July 26, 2013 related to case number 9633653 regarding [redacted] complaint. We contacted [redacted] on August 5, 2013 and agreed to a mutually agreeable resolution.

Review: 6 months ago in Oct 2014, we stopped receiving payments starting with September payout and were never told of any issues. No one emailed or called us until 2 months later we noticed the payments were missing from our bank. We called and no one answered correctly. After about 6 more times of constant calling we were told the [redacted] had put a hold on our ability to receive funds. Surprised we said we have never missed paying taxes in the 20 yrs in business. No one at Altria could give us a straight answer. Finally after more phone calls asking them to produce any documentation from the IRS, they said there wasn’t any and there was no issue with the [redacted] but that they verified the EIN number on file and it was showing as a non-valid EIN. I had seen already the last 4 digits of the incorrect EIN they had on our profile which was wrong. The rep [redacted] would not provide the entire number and said that she didn’t have access to all the numbers. This was a lie, in that she said she had the signed contract from us from 5 years ago which had everything written on it. Once I said, that was not correct that she said she didn’t have access, because she was looking at the contract in front of her, she stayed quiet and didn’t respond. She also said that they are a stickler for verifying everything on contracts including EIN#’s and we were at fault. I then again had to point out that that was not true again, because it had become clear to me that for the past 5 years they never verified the EIN# they had on file. She became quiet again and said it seems they missed verifying in this instance. When we speak to [redacted] in the evaluations department, who is supposed to fix the issue, instead she starts to ask insulting questions to say that we are confused as to what our EIN number is and that we don't know what our own Tax ID is. They even verified our EIN # with a W9 form for new contract. I can go on and on with the excuses by Altria if you need more.Desired Settlement: Per the terms of the contract for year 2014, we have met the terms and conditions of the program, Altria owes us payments for the missed months October, November, and December 2014. They keep saying they will make the payments, but keep stalling payments with excuses due to clerical error. We would like to be paid these funds calculated per the agreement rightfully due to us, as we have always honored our part of the agreement for the past 20 years. 5 years ago when the contract was signed, the wrong # was written down by the Altria representative and now we were being blamed for a mistake made on their part. Instead of validating our contract terms having been met, same as we have in past 20 years, they stopped paying and kept making excuses. They kept giving us the run around It is now 6 months and still not a penny. We have asked multiple times what our pay out is and no one will provide the totals either which should be between $75 to $200 per month.
