When I inquired about having our outdoor furniture reupholstered, Ms*** quoted me weeks to have them finishedWhen I dropped off the cushions and fabric and paid the $cash deposit, she quoted me a hard deadline of weeks and wrote it on my receiptI reached out to her days before I was scheduled to pick them up to make sure they would be readyShe did not respondI reached out again the day before only to be told she had put them on hold to work on Prom dresses and would START on them the following weekShe had not even startedNo apologyI told her I was upset and needed them by the following Friday for our house partyI also asked why she didn't let me know if the delayNo responseI followed up when I didn't hear from her the day of the house partyNo responseI followed up days laterShe said they were 75% done and would be ready in daysNo apologyI followed up days later and she said they were almost done againI had had itNot a single apologyNot once did she call, text or email me to let me know there would be further delays or provide updatesI had to stalk her for weeks throughout which we had no outdoor furnitureWhen I finally went to pick them up, she simply asked me for the rest of the money in cash before I could pick even one up to inspect itNo explanation, no apology, nothingI got home and started taking them out of my truck when a pin that she'd left in a cushion went through my thumbI texted her and let her know, including a photoNot only did she not apologize (again) she threatened me with a libel suitI told her all I ever asked for was professionalism - communication with good workmanshipNo responseI was so excited to support a local, small businessIt turned out to be a nightmareAs for the workmanship...very poorI could not be more disappointed
