Alvarez Roofing Solutions just completed re-roofing our garage and shed which were both leaking through old cedar shakes Alvarez and other companies gave us similar quotes but we chose them because they were prompt to arrive for a quote, confident, knowledgeable and explained the process from start to finish Both roofs needed stripping of the old shakes (which were very stubborn) and plywood laid down before the shingles went on *** gave us a written quote on the spot, an idea when they would be able to start and kept in contact with us once hired to do the job He was patient and helpful while we chose a shingle colour that would simulate the old cedar shakes We were very impressed with the top quality products they used, their professionalism and attention to detail I also very much appreciated their understanding of our need to preserve the character of our garage which is a renovated year old blacksmith shop with many imperfections to work around!
