Review: I paid [redacted], Owner of Alvaro Constuction $1600.00 to add a 10 x 12 stamped concrete patio and step to my existing patio. Also paid [redacted] an additional $150.00 TO Have my existing patio and walkway sealed.The concrete step and the sealing was never completed. [redacted] performed some of the work on September 10 & 11 2013. [redacted] left approximately 2 tons of limestone in my driveway that I ended up having to shovel from the bottom of my drive on September 12. The work that was performed was done inadequately and poor. I informed [redacted] on September 12, and he did not meet with me until September 14. When I met with [redacted] he promised to fix and finish the work. [redacted] blamed the concrete company that he contracted and said it was a bad mix. He arranged a meeting with a representative from the concrete company on September 17, 2013 at 3 p.m. and [redacted] never appeared. [redacted] left his Bobcat in my backyard from September 9 through September 22, 2013. The Police Department almost cited me with a zoning violation because [redacted] never returned my voicemails to remove his equipment from my property. My yard was damaged and was supposed to be fixed and reseeded but that never occured either. It cost me an additional $260.00 to have my lawn repaired and I have to tear out and redo [redacted] poor concrete work because the concrete was all pitted and he had the slope going toward the house instead of away from the house so all the water just sits on the concrete and runs towards the foundation of the house instead of draining off of the patio towards the back yard. [redacted], nor his office manager have returned my calls nor have they made an attempt to fix or refund my money.Desired Settlement: I have left countless voicemails with [redacted] and his Office Manager, [redacted]. They do not return my calls or have they made any attempt to fix and complete work that I paid them to do. Some of the work that I paid [redacted] to do eas never even done. [redacted] should refund $1750.00 plus the $260.00 it cost me to repair my yard. I have to have the entire concrete pad torn out and replaced. It's that BAD!
