The owner of this business came to my place of residence to conduct an evaluation of doing deck repair. Upon his completion I informed him that I would get with him on his offer price for acceptance or non-acceptance. Later that evening (Monday) I notified him that I would accept his offer for the work. He assured me that he would come back to my home on Tuesday morning with his team and a contract. Tuesday, only he showed up, contract in hand for my review and signature. I requested that he make a few notes and he did, and paid him a deposit. (Noted within his contract is that deposits are nonrefundable). He assured me that his team would be out at my home on Wednesday morning. Wednesday morning was a no show, however, I did receive a text that he had to finish a job with another company and would arrive at my home later in the day or the next morning. No show for Wednesday. Thursday morning, while waiting, I got a text from him informing me he would have someone at my house within the hour, this was at 8:36 am. At 10:00 am and no show, I sent him a text and left a voice message that I wanted a refund on my deposit. He informed me that it would take some time for that to happen. Minutes later, he informed me that he was in my driveway, when I sent him the text. I find this hard to believe considering I was at home waiting patently the entire morning. This company seems to be taking advantage of its potential customers by doing a delaying response for services. Taking money without doing a hours work is unthinkable for any type of business or organization. I will never, recommend or consider someone that practice its business in this manner.

I have requested a copy of the contract agreed upon from Mr. [redacted]Rose, the owner of Perfect Rose Construction and Painting since the day we both signed it on Sunday, January 3, 2016. That same day I wrote Mr. [redacted] a check for $1,500.00 ([redacted]), 1/2 of the total cost of the job to build a fence on my property. The contract stated the work would be completed in 10 days. On Monday, January 4th the work began with a late start. On Wednesday, January 6th, Mr.Rose asked me if he could have additional money up front due to a home situation. He asked for $1,000.00. I wrote him a check for $1,000.00 [redacted] and gave it to him. On Wednesday, January 13th, I paid Mr. Rose the final payment of $500.00 [redacted] and he said they'd finish clean up and that they were done. There were piles of sawdust in the fenced in area and a pile of fence wood. Outside the fence in that same vacinity were empty soda cans and other cans. On the other side of the house were large wood benches that were removed from my deck before the rails were installed and fast food bags. I also informed him that I still needed a copy of the contract. I had spoke to him also as the work was going on that I thought either the wood was to be wider or space between smaller. The trash piles left by his company and with my failed attempts for them to clean it up I hired someone to remove them on Thursday, February 11th. It is now Friday, February 12th and I still do not have a copy of the contract after 20+ contacts with him either by phone or text message and numerous failed attempts. Mr. Rose has blocked me from every means of communication so that I am unable to contact his business or himself. Desired SettlementI want a copy of my contract that we both signed on January 3, 2016. If on the contract states anything different than what was or wasn't done, I want to be financially reimbursed.
