Always Drilling

Review: [redacted] owner, quoted a price of $3500.00 for drilling a 200 foot well, with pump, pipe, wire,tank and liner installed. after drilling was completed for 175 foot well, he gave me a bill of $4950.00. $1450 over the verbal estimate agreed upon it took 29 days to complete. he only drilled 3 days each week for whatever reason. rain or cold. and only about 6 hours each day, that he did show up. I chose him to drill my well because he quoted the $3500.00. I paid him $1200 down to start drilling. then $2000.oo when drilling was done so he could acquire the pump, pipe, wire, tank , and various fittings needed. I had to hire a contractor to excavate from the well to the house. and my son and the contractor had to help him install the pump assembly into the well. after which I gave him another $1000.oo. he is now asking for the remainder of his outrageous bill to be paid. I don't think its right to be ripped off like this. I have already paid $700 over the original estimate. [redacted] said he would take $200 off for 2 heat tapes and for me picking up and returning 1550 gal tank with my truck and trailer to and from his home. I also drained and removed solar cover,wire, pipe, and pump from tank before it was loaded onto trailer.Desired Settlement: do to the fact that his well truck sat in my drive way for 20 days before it was removed. and that I was over charged for the services rendered. he should refund an additional $500 off the total of $4950.oo . which would be $4250 the standard charge for storage of $25.OO per day x 20 = $500
