I absolutely hate moving with every part of my being, but I‘d move again next week as long as these guys are in charge of the job. I cannot say enough good things about them! They are true professionals with excellent work ethic who will take utmost care of all your possessions. They took on my long distance move very last minute at night after I was completely abandoned by another moving company. Always Helpful movers took my things across 3 states and not one item was broken, damaged, or even scratched. They wrapped everything carefully even when on a time crunch. John’s entire staff is amazingly professional and kind. Both managers that worked with me were excellent. They always answered the phone when I reached out, very responsive and attentive. The young Nigerian and Cameroonian movers, Tom, and the adorable Joseph were all so hardworking and efficient! They never took any breaks and worked tirelessly so the jobs were done in record time. I am immensely grateful I stumbled upon this company, they took all the stress out of my hectic move and I will use them again in a heartbeat for any future moves!

Always Helpful helped us move our three-bedroom home from Kansas City to Houston. They were extremely thorough and careful, resulting in almost zero damage. There were also very punctual, always ready at the date and time promised. We compared several vendors prior to moving. Although their price was not the lowest, it was very reasonable, their invoices were extremely clear, and the final cost came in LESS than the original estimate. In addition, when we moved in, they helped us by replacing the power cord on our dryer when it did not match the new outlet.
In terms of customer service, they were friendly and very hard-working. They have my highest recommendation.

They did an excellent job they were on time very courteous and made sure that everything was packed in a way that it would not get hurt. I would recommend them to anybody in a heartbeat.

After several quotes and research, I selected Always Helpful Movers to facilitate my cross country move and couldn't be more pleased. The move went smoothly. I had more stuff than estimated, but that was easily handled. The team was professional and careful. They are a faith based organization and it showed, no foul language, etc. which I appreciated. I did have a little damage which they readily took care of and delivered the repaired piece back to me as they made another cross country move and it was within a reasonable time. It was a pleasure to work with them and I would definitely use them again if I needed to move and I recommend them without hesitation.

This was our second time using Always Helpful Movers. We were very pleased five years ago with the move of our four bedroom home so we scheduled again, this time for my small fitness business, with several large and heavy items. Anthony, Albert and Njah Leslie were the team of movers assigned to us. They were prompt on arrival and presented friendly and positive attitudes. They took pride in their job and were very carful, many of the items were heavy, large and awkward to move. They worked efficiently as a team and finished the job in less time than expected. We were very pleased with this team of gentlemen and would most certainly request them again for any future moves. Thank you Always Helpful Movers!

I cannot praise these folks highly enough!! We chose them because they had very competitive pricing, but also because they promised to deliver our goods by far the quickest. We asked them to pack some large and fragile items, such as paintings and expensive furniture, and EVERYTHING arrived in the exact shape in which we left it!!! Unbelievable care was taken in both packing and unpacking. NOTHING was damaged or lost. They moved our stuff from Kansas to South Carolina on July 4th and 5th (a 15-hour drive), showed up as promised, and unpacked everything very quickly and carefully! AND - the final cost ended up being 14% less than their estimate in their contract!! I have never had that moving experience before. These people make me feel like moving again! Sorry, that was a dumb joke ;-) - Seriously, these people are the BEST!

These guys were AWESOME! On time, fast, professional and friendly and courteous. They made my move a smooth, pleasant experience instead of a nightmare, and I would recommend them for anyone! They moved me on 3/29/19, in thunder, lightning and rain, to a third floor apartment and they never complained...they were a joy to work with. And the cost was not nearly what I had feared...yes, you should definitely hire this company for your next move!!!

***, *** and *** were so great to work with! We loved working with these guys! They loaded up everything extremely fast, but were still very careful with the items. The three of them knocked it out in no time! When they unloaded at the new house, they were very careful not to damage any items or walls. These guys were nearly sprinting to get all of it done - which saves me money so I'm very happy! Once they arrived, it was a very stress-free experience! Thank you for your hard work!
There could be a few improvements around the scheduling piece, but everyone I talked with was very nice! The move itself was a little behind on the start time due to a hiccup they had that morning with another move, but they called me as soon as they knew so I could plan accordingly. I appreciate when people are honest and sincere! They more than made up for it in the actual move process.
I would highly recommend these movers to anyone else and will certainly be spreading the word!

Me and my husband were so excited about getting into our new house, and we had one day only to make this happen. When the company we had chosen to help us move, called and cancelled, we were freakin' out, to say the least. We had heard of Always Helpful Movers thru our family, (and they had actually moved my mom and dad in 2004!), and so at the last minute, and in a serious bind, I went to their office personally, and was fortunate to talk to the owner, John, and explained my drama, and now only 2 days away from our move!
He spoke with his general manager, and his team made our move happen on the only day we had possible. . . wow, I cannot say enough good things about this company!

Always Helpful Movers and Ministries moved us last month. We were pleased with the service we received. The movers were on-time, professional, personable and respectful. They took great care and wrapped all of our furniture to ensure it was protected. We were downsizing and moved from a very large home to one that was half the size. They did a great job and we very reasonably priced. Would use them again.

Always hated to move and have moved several times in my life.
From the initial contact to the last item off the truck, the process went very smoothly. I was contacted in a timely manner and everything committed to was completed as planned.

Always Helpful Movers packaged and delivered a quite large glass grandfather clock across several states. It arrived in perfect condition. John and his helper were courteous and professional. They also put the clock back together when they delivered it. Was very satisfied with their service. Would recommend them for moving your household and even large fragile items anywhere in the Country. Very satisfied!
