to Move [redacted] on 5/19/16to start time of 9:00- 9:30 am.  So when she called for second time around
9:45 she had a tone to her voice.  At
this point I was a bit concerned because I had not been able to contact the
movers.  I told her “I am very sorry” and
I would get back to her.  Then not too
much later I heard form mover’s they were having mechanical issues that truck
was not operational.  At this time I had
a different move going on that would be done around 12- 1:00 pm.  Called [redacted] and told her we will now have to
start move at 1:00pm. She expressed her unhappiness. As far as
movers having the “Day off” simply means on any given day if there is not work
for them “that day” there off.  Also I
can’t believe she’s go all my company schedules figured out, and said I was
“Lying” about them.  Simply I do not lie.Concerning
the damage to the bed [redacted] (my employee) took the bed apart and assembled
it.  When he took it apart he took both
side rails of the bed put them together then shrink wrapped the two together
they were moved to the new bedroom where he unwrapped and assembled them they
were not damaged at this time you couldn’t help but notice if it were damaged.At this
point the customer was asked if everything was ok in the bed room as far as
positioning of furniture in bed room she said, “Everything was fine”, if there
any damage you couldn’t help but notice it! 
Mover then again asked if everything was ok? 10-15 minutes later when
finished move, and if she would sign paper work and pay requested amount. Mover
left.A short
while later I got a call I think it was the customers Husband calling from New
York   I did get a call from him.  I believe it was him at this point, saying he
was th calmer on in the Family told me about damage to $1200. Bed.  I called her back and took [redacted] with me to
go see the damage.  When we got to her
apartment, and walk through her bedroom door it jumped out at you, you couldn’t
miss it.  From a distance it looked like
a gouge on the top corner of the wood, looking closer it was splinter wood.
(sent pictures).  When [redacted] seen the
damage he was very, very sure this was not here when they left.  I believed him, he was bothered by that accusation.  [redacted] then said if he  would have caused that if would of Just fixed
it.  We looked around for the splinter
could not find it. The damage
was splintered piece of wood the manufacture over looked during
production.  This was an accident waiting
to happen.  I took a few pictures with
phone, but definetly shows the splinter was there before the piece was
stained.   There was a small gap waiting
to catch some kind of material going by. 
Even bedding could of caused this.  Later on
that evening -4 hours later feeling bad I called [redacted] to tell her that I
believed she had a case to take to furniture store of manufacturing Company and
told again I was sorry.All in all I
regret what went on prior to the move and apologize for all the inconveniences
we may have caused.  But, I do not feel
we are responsible for damage to the bed.Sincerely,[redacted], Owner and Operator

I am rejecting this response because:He did nothing to resolve this except apologize. In the contract, that I still have, It states I have 24 hrs to contact them about damage. I contacted them within a couple hours. Can they just pick and choose what damage they will take of? I still feel they are responsible for the bed.
